Sandra Oh to Star in New Broadway Play

In addition to delighting millions of fans as the sarcastic, yet endearing Dr. Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy, Sandra Oh continues to build her acting resume on the big screen and on stage. Starting next month, the Canadian actress will be starring in the Broadway play Satellites at the Public Martinson’s Theater, according to Broadway.com.

The play, written by Diana Son and debuting June 18, centers around an interracial couple, Nina (Oh) and Miles, who are new parents moving into a transforming neighborhood in Brooklyn. With a new house, a new baby, and a constant struggle to make ends meet, they're tested by old friends, strangers and difficult life decisions.

Stage veterans Kevin Carroll (who plays Miles), Johanna Day, Ron Cephas Jones, Satya Lee, and Clarke Thorell have also been cast. Carroll has previously appeared in the plays Take Me Out and Stop Kiss alongside Oh -- the latter was also written by Son. Satellites is directed by Michael Greif, and will begin previews May 30.
