Kate Walsh Withdraws From Movie

Sources say that Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh will no longer appear in Dimension Films' production of 1408, as previously reported.

According to Variety, scheduling conflicts with Grey's Anatomy forced Kate to withdraw from the picture, an adaption of the Stephen King novel about a haunted hotel that also stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.

Walsh will be replaced by Mary McCormack, who most recently appeared in the acclaimed TV Drama The West Wing.

While it's too bad we don't get to see more of Kate on the big screen, we can look at it as her devoting more time to Grey's Anatomy. Then again, as many readers have expressed in our long-running Meredith vs. Addison face-off, perhaps you aren't too thrilled about that prospect.
