Pregnancy Talk With Chandra Wilson

at .

Fans catching a glimpse of this week's episode during the end credits last Thursday saw Meredith Grey worrying that she might be pregnant. We can't say whether or not this plot development is true, nor can we comment on the rumors flying around that Ellen Pompeo is pregnant in real life. Yet somehow we doubt both.

We'll tell you one thing for certain, though. Last season, when Dr. Bailey was pregnant, that was the real deal. At the same time her character was giving birth (with George's helpful aid), Chandra Wilson (right) brought her third baby into the world.

In the newest People magazine, Chandra offers her take on the process, sounding a bit like her witty Seattle Grace alter ego:

"I've gone through three childbirths so far, and they've all been wonderful. I highly recommend epidurals, though. I'm looking for an endorsement deal."

Hmm. Not sure how that would work exactly, but we're pretty sure Nike is trying to get through to Wilson's management team about now.

In case you were wondering, epidurals are a popular form of medication for labor in most hospitals. An epidural is defined as a form of regional anesthesia involving injection of drugs through a catheter placed into the epidural space. The injection causes a loss of sensation and pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals through nerves in or near the spinal cord. Fun!
