Dempsey One of Year's Most Fascinating

by at . Comments

A certain handsome Grey's Anatomy star will be interviewed by the iconic Barbara Walters tomorrow evening as one of 2006's most fascinating figures.

Walters, as has been her custom, is keeping the identity of one of her "10 Most Fascinating People" to herself and will reveal it to the world on the show, which airs Tuesday night on ABC.

Here's the remainder of this year's list:

  1. Andre Agassi: Retired tennis great
  2. Sacha Baron Cohen: Offensive interferer
  3. Patrick Dempsey: Had a McDreamy year
  4. Terri Irwin: Stood tall in a time of grief
  5. Jay-Z: His Kingdom came
  6. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt: Hollywood It Couple
  7. Joel Osteen: His ministry soared
  8. John Ramsey: Reluctantly, in the news
  9. Anna Wintour: Inspired a devil of a film.

Steve Marsi is the Managing Editor of TV Fanatic. Follow him on Google+ or email him here.

Patrick Dempsey is a sexy man!!

Thanks, purplemerder. I realize that now. He was such a neat guy. I loved the interview with his wife. He had such a zest for life. He will be missed. Patrick looked awesome didn't he? I knew all the Derek people would be happy.

Burke Backer - Terri Irwin is the wife of Steve Irwin from animal plant. you know the crocodile hunter.

It sounds like an interesting combination of people. I don't know some of these people. Maybe I don't read People Magazine enough. Who is Terri Erwin, Joel Osteen, and Anna Wintour? I am completely sick to death of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Can't think of too many people less fascinating. I could do this entire show with GA cast mates alone. 1. Isaiah Washington
2. Sandra Oh
3. Ellen Pompeo
4. Patrick Dempsey
5. T.R. Knight
6. Katherine Heigl
7. Chandra Wilson
8. Justin Chambers
9. Richard Pickens, Jr.
10. Kate Walsh (I would add an 11 and 12. Eric Dane and Sara Ramirez)

Can't wait to see it...

I'm glad he made the list. He desevers it and this show has been really good for him. I'll admit, he took me awhile before I became a fan but now I'm a really big fan and I hope that he'll begin to venture out and do more movies.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
