Katherine Heigl.

Puppies.

That's a cute combination, no question about it. Unfortunately, there are tons of little dogs out there that need places to call home. Fortunately, our girl is an avid supporter of the Third Annual Pedigree Adoption Drive, which you can find out more about here.

In the meantime, here's some pictures of Katie supporting the event (and a couple of its cute, four-legged beneficiaries):

oh come on. give the girl a break. "oh, poor confused pups with all that fake fur and the actress that is trying to help save them." ptsch..

wearing fake fur still helps to popularize all types of fur. animals may not have died for that (whatever kind of clothing it is), but some people who see her in it will want to emulate...

She's talked about wearing fake fur, so I assume that's not the real thing.

I was just gonna say something about her supporting animals and wearing fur as well...

Though that is AWESOME! I love supporting animals as well. (no, I'm not PETA, just pointing something out)... Don't you think those poor pups could get a bit confused with her wearing fur and all?? Just a question! I LOVE YOU IZZY!

If you're willing to throw caution to the wind and take a chance, the view from the other side... is spectacular."
