Did anyone hear that tonight's episode is the SEASON FINALE? I heard this on a radio station (100.7) in Pittsburgh, PA this morning. I find it hard to believe that the entire season comes to a close tonight.

on the abc.com preview it said she ws 86 degrees..
if she spontaneously goes up 6 degrees that isn't good. the rule of medicene is you get warm before you die. Lets hope the epi is kicking in and not white lights. i honeslty cannot wait 5 more hours.This is so like devastating.Shonda can't kill her off and if shes a ghost walking around greys thats like way to soap-ish for me and i'll stop watching. what happened to an incredible drama series? If you see it I want it back?!

i want mer to survive as much as the next person so we gotta stay optimistic! if you really think about they would not kill off meredith. she is the main character - the shows named after her! shonda would be stupid to kill off the character that everyone loves.

Laura, that "I love you more than anything" moment is exactly what I want to see! I'm such a romantic. I love these two together.
However, as I mentioned in one of my posts above... I have this sinking feeling that it's not going to end that way. *sigh*

I most definately agree with Maryann Jr. I've been thinking that ever since I saw the preview showing Cristina yell "Try Again!" I feel if anyone can bring Meredith back it's her. I think that once all the other doctor's are about to give up, it's going to be Cristina who keeps giving it her all and eventually saves Meredith.
Also, does anyone know how long the break is going to be after this week? I know there won't be a new episode on March 1st, or 8th but that's as far ahead that tvguide.com will let you look. This whole Meredith thing better be completely wrapped up by the end of the episode. And by that I mean, Meredith better wake up and her and Derek better have a really great "I love you more than anything" moment. I can't possibly wait DAYS to see what's going to happen let alone WEEKS.

THIS is why I love this show. You learn to expect the unexpected with Greys, and you're still surprised at the end of every episode to realize you've laughed and you've cried, and you've enjoyed both equally.
As if last weeks episode didn't have me jittery enough, tonights wrap-up of this 3 parter looks like another kick-ass hour of television courtesy of Shonda Rimes. I have a sneaky hunch that it will be Cristina who is most instrumental in resurrecting Meredith. She was sooo moving in last weeks "Drowning on Dry Land" episode when she was trying to make Burke understand her feelings toward meredith when she said "She's my 'person'! " I can totally see Cristina being the one - after everyone has lost hope - doing something drastic, something like jumping on Meredith and literally beating the life back INTO her closest friend. Cristina is a great character and Sandra Oh has perfected her odd mix of loyalty, ego and intelligence. Cristina loves a competition, and is nothing if not

The scene from tonight's show gave me goosebumps!
Clearly, they are not going to resolve this early in the show. Which just pisses me off. A) Because they are going to make Meredith talk to dead people the whole show, which is just stupid, and B) Because it just makes it that much more unrealistic. I mean, really, how long can she be down without a freaking heartbeat before they call her time of death?
I'm excited for tonight, but definitely annoyed.

That YouTube video was a mistake to watch. Now I'm just that much more anxious for tonight.
The video would have been better if the damn music wasn't so loud over the talking parts. But I understand not everyone has the right editing stuff to be able to do that.
Plus I had about enough of Avril after the song played through the first time.

I will have a good night sleep over here and tomorrow I will log in to see th resume of this episode and if I read that Meredith is dead I will not watch the episode as I don't want this to spoil my whole day and my week-end. If I read that Meredith heart just started beating at the end of the episode I will also not watch the episode and I will not buy Season 3 when it comes out on DVD. No one will ever mess with my feelings and after being soooooooooo hooked on this show I swear not to be involved in any shows for the rest of my life. Done with suffering YEAH!!

Looks like Derek changes into normal street clothes somehow. But I guess that makes sense considering he dove into the Puget Sound to get Meredith out. He should still be wet (though it didn't look like he was at the end of last episode).
Less than 8 hours. I am freaking out. LOL

The only thing I can think of that would be as "devastating" as Meredith actually dying would be if she had amnesia and didn't remember Derek! Would it be too much to ask for just a FEW episodes where Meredith and Derek could actually be HAPPY?! I miss the "Grey's" I used to know and love.

OMG!!! Does this show rock or what???
I've heard there are rumors circulating that Meredith will die but will still be on the show as a narrarator (like she is now) and a ghost walking around the hospital along with Denny. That is just not right!!! I'm hoping they don't kill HER off but wouldn't have a problem with them killing her mother off which makes more sense!
All I know is that I will be GLUED to that TV tonight!!! Here's hoping for the best GA fans!!!

i just can't take and the talk of dying!!! let's think happy thoughts ppl. let's talk about when they revive Mer. i think a collective sigh of relief will be heard around the world! LOL seriously tho, i really hope shonda isn't going to go too far w/this whole "i don't play by the rules of tv" business. gawd i just don't know what to think :(
