LA I completely agree with you! That would be a really good twist for the show to see if Izzie and Callie were both carrying George's baby. And if Callie was already pregnant, that would explain her mood swings.....
but, i really want more couple time. more HAPPY couple time. I want burke and christina to finally be happy and get over all this marlow crap and then i want mer/der to be happier or at least see them more on camera!

Here is a bit more on the Heigl issue that I find interesting. I hope that the cast can get it together. If ABC/Touchstone gives them all substantial raises so that they all feel valued, maybe we can just get back to focusing on the show itself. That would be a pleasant change since October.

But he then repeated the word at the Golden Globes on Jan. 15. Heigl struck back by approraching the media at the night's afterparties. Like a real-life emergency room, there's been plenty of behind the scenes trauma on the set of ABC's Grey's Anatomy this season, but sources say that the latest drama is the most shocking of all. That's because it involves a falling out between Kate Walsh and Katherine Heigl, who were "the two closests cast members on the set. They were best friends," says the insider. "They would go out after work, and they lived near each other so they would visit each other's houses." In fact, Kate 39, who's already an old hand when it comes to series TV (she was a regular on The Drew Carey Show, among others), used to give Katherine advice on navigating the business. But no more!! Sources say, "They are no longer speaking to each other."

Hi Dixie Girl, I do post on the Grey Matter writer's blog as Burke Backer sometimes and did this past week. Sometimes I post there using my name. I was so disappointed that the blog only focused on the last three minutes of the show and the George and Izzie hook-up that I wanted to write and tell them that I wasn't as interested in that as I was in what they were doing to Burke and Cristina and wish she had at least talked about it.
Someone earlier wrote that they didn't think Izzie and George had sex. Would it really matter if you were Callie? If your boyfried, or rather husband, got drunk and went to be with someone that is publically dissing your marriage ever chance she gets, discusses you and your marriage with her, and winds up naked in her bed while she is naked too, do you think you would feel better? Would that be any less of a betrayal? Regardless of whether or not they had sex it was wrong and hurtful to Callie, in my opinion.

i really would like to see alex and izzie together that would be awsome. i don't care who george is with i don't like him anymore he such a girl hes so annoying. if george is with anyone i think he should be with olivia i really liked her she should be in the show more. the show needs something big to happen because it really starting to get cheesy

i hate izzie and george together its just to weird. but i also hate calli i like olivia better than her.
i really don't like the third season its getting really stupid i liked it at first but as the show goes on its geting worse and worse.
they really need more mer and der scenes.

DixieGIrl,I second you post..we need some MER/DEr scenes..I mean she was on her freakin' death bed..and all they had was dinner.I hope Shonda's got something...cause they aren't like the main characters anymore without her narrating at the begining and end.

Hey, does anyone ever post at the ABC site? There's a BurkeBacker there, so I was wondering...
They didn't post my first post. LOL - I congratulated them on getting back to a real blog about the show....and back to a real show, as well.
Anyway --- interesting.....not sure how I feel about Gizzie, think that might be a little contrived. At least Burke and Christina had SOME interaction - I do love the actor that played her professor...loved him on West Wing, although he looks 20 years older now!
I MISS MER / DER!!! The dinner scenes were nice, I like the support and family stuff....but SERIOUSLY! She almost died...and they're sleeping in LONG UNDERWEAR....puh-lease. I'm ready for some porny Mer / Der scenes. Do you think Shona's saving up for the last couple of episodes?

sorry if somebody has already said this .. but i didn't feel like reading everybodys comments ::
abc changed the "new episode" airdate to this thursday .. the 22nd. something about october road got more viewers than planned and they thought that if they went a week in hiatus with grey's that the viewer rate would decline and october road would beat grey's. so they changed the next "new episode" to this thursday instead of the next.

I had a similar thought to BrightAndShiny's idea... I wonder if they are setting up Izzy AND Callie both being pregnant by George? That would be a good season endling cliff-hanger for those characters.

OMG!! i am so mad... i did not want any of what happened to happen!! Gizzie is not cool. Marlow sooo not cool or hot or even worth Burke being upset over cuz he is creepy!!. And the whole episode just didnt feel like greys! the patient doctor interaction was barely there and when it was it was just blah!! who is this girl that is Dereks patient... i know they were friends and she is a doctor but i dunno she makes me nervous like she will couse controversy or something... i hope marlow leaves.. and please o please Gizzie wasnt what it seemed.. i vote it was just them sleeping naked hopefully no sex!! i mean alcohol makes you do weird stuff so im crossing my firngers! Well see ya next week people!!

So, let's start on "Who the hell are you NOT Hot Doctor?" You do NOT squeeze Christina's bottom like that. In fact I'm surprised Burke didn't do anything about it. Though I would like him to. I would like him to go up to the doctor and say "Well, sir, it's a pleasure working with you... however, she's mine. We're engaged. So back-off." but that seems more... Mark, shall I say?
And how many days has it been already since Addison and Mark made that bet? I wonder. D= Sorry, Still not over that!
Izzie & O'Malley... What the HELL happened there? "GET OUT!" "She's inscure! Hahaha!" "Yeah, I know... *kiss, scene end*" So... George is SO in shit now. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I did not like that new professor and I definitely don't like George and Izzie together. Now all he has to do is sleep with Cristina and he's got the complete intern set. I felt sorry for Callie because at least she didn't flaunt her money and I can understand why she hesitated telling him. I love Bang so much but Cristina disappointed me yesterday I mean a couple episodes ago she told Burke she in it for the long haul and yesterday she asked indifferent. The writing on this show is inconsistent. She was in a relationship with this guy for 3 years and in season 2 she told Burke she hadn't had experience in relationships. I was so disappointed in this show that I didn't even watch the encore presentation tonight.

I thought last nights show was good but was just a change from the (3) parter that was so intense!
Not sure how I feel about George and Izzie. I can't imagine them as a couple. I think of them as best friends. He should not have done that to Callie no mater what their problems were. If he doesn't want to be married anymore, then get out of the marriage and then persue Izzie. I just don't know about this love triangle.
Burke and Cristina I was alittle surprised at.. Why is Cristina so unsure of things now? I did not like the professor of Cristina's at all. I hope that he will not be a regular on the show. Why is she unsure of things with Burke all of a sudden. She was so excited about telling Meredith in the last episode about her engagement!
I love the scenes with Mer and Der! Even though there were not very many and were so short. I wanted to see more of them together especially after all they have been through. At least they acted happy and I loved the scene with Der an

I hav'nt commented in a while because I really am not sure what to say. The show does seem to have taken a wrong turn some where. I read Burke Backer's comment and totally agree. I just feel something aint quiet right.

i would personally like to see izzie and george run their course... (although i have posted otherwise previously). But only if he breaks it off with Callie. I'm not in to the whole adulterous thing. Although, i will say again: i am NOT convinced that george and izzie slept together and all who say it was izzie's fault: it takes 2 to tango.
i also think that this episode is going to be a major turning point for all of the characters. For Izzie, for George, for Callie, for Mer, for Der, for Christina, and for Burke. It left us with so many unanswered questions, you have to assume that things can only get more dark and twisty and then go back to bright and shiny. thats why this episode felt so off.
and if anyone has info about the next episodes air date... please post it!

What can I say about last night's episode? I am so appalled and completely disgusted by the whole thing it is hard to discuss. I HATED the George and Izzie hook up. It really just solidified for me that I don't like these two characters. George is married. It may be a joke to him and maybe it was a mistake, but finding out your wife is an heiress is not reason to go get drunk and sleep with someone else. It is beyond disgusting. And, true friends would see that your friend is hurting and would find another way to help that isn't so completely selfish. It was really just wrong, in my opinion, and can't possibly end well. Fans who like Izzie and George together should really be very disappointed because the only way they can really be together is if George gets out of his marriage first because the marriage is wrong, not for Izzie.
Meredith and Derek are getting so little screen time that you begin to forget that they are the leads in the show. I did kind of like the dinner
