Tonight's Episode: "Scars and Souvenirs"

at .

It's about time. Tonight, Grey's Anatomy makes its return with the all-new "Scars and Souvenirs." This episode was formerly known as "Old Wounds," and is written by Debora Cahn.

Tonight, as he continues to work on her case, Alex grows closer to Jane Doe, who finally recovered enough to speak in "Some Kind of Miracle." At the same time, a new patient flies into Seattle for surgery and leaves an immediate impression.

Someone else enters the race for Chief of Surgery, which continues to heat up. George faces more problems with Izzie and Callie - the latter has a big secret. Someone treats a WWII veteran in other interesting case. On top of all of this, Derek treats a patient near and dear to him, and there's talk of a huge plot twist (see poll and spoiler post from yesterday).

The episode guest stars Elizabeth Reaser (Pregnant Jane Doe), as well as Shohreh Aghdashloo (Helen Crawford) and Roger Rees (Dr. Colin Marlow).

Looks like a good one. As usual, we'll have our episode guide up after the show, and get right to work on compiling quotes, pictures and a guide to the music from "Scars and Souvenirs." Our forum thread will be live right after the show, and open to all registered users for discussion!
