Well, maybe I'm in the majority, but I thought the 'spin-off' was crap. It was boring and there was a lot of weird comments between the characters. The psychologist played by Amy B.--she's angry because her boyfriend broke up with her and he married someone else--but there was not enough backstory, we didn't see them together to make her anger believable. A psychologist who's that angry and messed up in real life wouldn't be allowed to work unless she got her act together.
Shonda writes Grey's pretty well, but in this show, there were too many things that were 'out there' or not believable. A doctor who dates people from the Internet? If in real life, likely other doctors working with him would tell him to get his act together too, or find another place to work. Stuff like that is dangerous and distracts from his ability to do his job. The show was silly in places too (how many of you believe that a woman would allow a guy she barely knows to give her a deep, long French kiss?) Shon
