I don't mind them making a spinoff show. Of anyone on grey's, Kate Walsh is probably the only one I'd tune in to see in another show, cause I absolutely love her, and she can hold her own. Last night's episode was horrible, but I expected that. You have to introduce everyone, explain what they all do, what their pasts are. It doesn't leave a whole lot of room for good quality episode. But I would have rather they put all that in it's own hour. There was too much new show, and not enough grey's. Like I said, I'm down with the new stuff, and I'll even give it a shot, should it get picked up, at least for an episode or two. I understand it's a different show, and will therefore have a different feel. But don't dilute and water down grey's with it. Leave it as it's own entity. The cast was good, and McElevator is pretty cute, and I think if they give time to let the characters develop, it could be interesting. But they need to let the connection to Grey's die. If they keep the two shows in

I was highly disappointed last night with this episode. I hated how it keep jumping back and forth. The whole time I kept thinking go back to Grey's and get rid of this private practice crap!

We were all talking abut the show at work today and hands down...no one is pleased with the direction things are going---DOWNHILL. The plot lines are becoming more and more outrageous, but NOT in an entertaining manner. The spin off is really lame. I feel like we've invested a lot in this show and Shonda has really let us down. George used to be one of my favorite characters, because he had a good heart and would always try to do the right thing. Now we are to believe that he would treat both Callie and Izzie so poorly? Because he is doing a huge disservice to both of them with his actions. The best thing about George and Izzie's relationship was that they could be best friends and NOT lovers---so much for thinking outside the formulaic prime time TV show thinking. And Addison and Alex had come so far only to be robbed of the potential the writers were starting to give them. Seriously, the writers HATE women (and apparently gay men)--It's not enough that Addison lets McSteamy

I am so glad to see that I was not the only person supremely dissapointed with last night's episode. Grey's is the only show I make time to watch every week and I usually love every single episode, last night though was just the opposite. I couldn't wait for it to end so I could just go to bed. The 15 minutes of Seattle Grace time was not enough, I do not tune in weekly to see storylines develop on charachters in California, I want Seattle and that is it. And I especially did not like seeing Addison as some unsure melodramatic having a midlife chrisis verge of a mental breakdown crazy woman! She is much better in the Seattle setting, I will not watch the spin off (if there is one) and from now one, Greys should stick to the stuff we all love.

Okay i am not done yet, i just went to complete my assignment and now i am back. So as i was saying, i just saw the promo for next week.. unbelievable!!! SERIOUSLY!??! i nearly had a heart attack and it totally FREAKED me out!!! Seriously shonda what do you think you are playing with? you do realise that to even think of giving derek a new love interest other than mer is unacceptable and would totally destroy your fan base if not the show? Secondly i know its just a show but trust me on this, fans are extremely sensitive were merder are concerned, which if it happens will not only make majority of your fans hate you but mcdreamy as well and i mean for ever. Thirdly, just how much can meredith take as a person? seriously! do you necessarily have to kill susan? i liked susan and now you killed her just like that, for no reason what so ever. I am tired and angry very angry and frustrated and i am not the only one, so you better perform some kind of MIRACLE in your next two episodes or els

I don't think that I have any more anger to stress about the spinoff since 56 people before me have pretty much said everything. So Grey's....I thought it was an okay episode... is it just me or do all the patients not somehow deeply connected to the main characters live? Seriously, if you're gonna kill someone, kill somebody we hardly know. Second, let's spend more time with some humor like in season 1 than with ruining Meredith's life. I mean...let's go all the way back to season 1

1. she had to carry a penis around in a cooler
2.she almost got kicked out because she popped a glove in surgery
3. she finds out that derek works at seattle grace
4. Addison comes to Seattle
5. Derek breaks up with her
6. Mommy gets alzheimers
7. Mommy gets to go to the hospital
8. Mommy dies somewhat later
9. she puts her hand in the body cavity

Shonda and writers.....GET WITH IT!!! PLEASE! You have to make Grey's better, the way it was, realisticm, but still TV. Derek wouldn't go into a bar and cheat on Meredith! What are you insane? And , I agree with Adam...DO NOT JAG Grey's Anatomy. I loved JAG, then it went down hill....climb back up that hill Shonda!!!

I like the grey's part and I'd like to be confident over Burkestina. But Burke doubts that the wedding is what she wants and Cristina, according to Shonda is losing herself. Nobody looks happy, despite what they said. They have deep issues, that could prevent their marriage.I don't believe in it.

Actually, the GA part was very good. As usually I enjoyed Burke and Cristina. I loved that Burke defended Cristina. He was making up for the first visit when Mama Burke wasn't very kind to Cristina, although Mama Burke didn't understand her the way Burke does. It's clear to me that Burke is not doubting his lover for Cristina or the wedding, he's concerned about making Cristina happy. And, I love that Cristina is warming up to the wedding, can you believe it, she was concerned about the dress, and even the last scene with them (so sweet), it seemed a little ominiouis, but I think their going to be fine. One other thing, I like that Burke understands that the wedding is a huge step for her; he so understands his woman.

Last night really sucked! The spinoff characters were all whiney and boring! Seriously!
Addison's character at SGH was a strong, in LA she turns into a whiney, whimpy girl - not a woman at all!
And quit messing with Meredith and Derek - let them have a happy moment for once in their relationship!
And drop the whole George and Izzy thing - just wierd! They were better as close friends!
Don't do the spin-off! HUGE mistake!

They took what (I thought) could've been a halfway decent GAs and interspersed it with CRAP!
Sorry, the spin off is AWFUL. Kate Walsh should RUN, not walk, back to GA. The new show puts her character in SUCH a demeaning position. How are we supposed to accept her as 'the best neonatal surgeon in the country' and a sexy, intelligent, mature woman, when she drools over surfer dude (with two other supposedly mature professional women?)
Can't say that I liked the GA plot development last night - but at least it was closer to the GA we love. Gotta ask tho - who's going to dress Thatcher and lead him around now - I mean, is he so incredibly inept in life, or is it just around Mer? I did think the slap was a little unrealistic too....
Liked BANG scenes....love the way that Burke's mama makes him feel about 12 years old....wish we'd seen a little more of Christina's mama too - she's hell on wheels just like Mama Burke....but I agree, Burk

NO, please don't ruin a good thing! Whose hairbrained idea was this? We used to look forward to Thurs nights to watch grey's. Hands down the whole family(and friends and relations) are truly disappointed with the spinoff. The actors can't act and the story line stinks. Please get rid of it asap!

Ya know, I saw the same thing happen to one of my favorite shows a few years ago. A spin off was planned, taking many of the best writers and most of the creator's attention and focus...as a result, we were blessed with characters no longer resembling the ones we know and love, plotlines coming seemingly from out of left field, and we had to wonder if the writers were even familiar with any of the episodes that came before.
That show was JAG, and the spin-off, of course, was NCIS

I have one thing last nights Grey's was HORBBILE just HORRIBLE. I don't like the spin off and it should just not happen I will never watch the spin off but you will never loose me on Grey's Anatomy.

That was terrible. The new cast couldn't act their way out of a box. Can you say "second string?" Addison was leaps and bounds above them.
And Mer/Der, what is up with that? Note to writers: you don't have to kill people to make things interesting!! That was just awful. Why are they pulling this crap? It's not even meaningful, just crap.
And Derek in the bar with that ugly girl? They want us to believe that after falling in love with Meredith in season 1, fighting for her in season 2, and saving her life in season 3, he's going to just leave and find some girl in a bar?
Writers: you suck. Get with the program.

and yeah.the mcelevator guy was pretty cool. i can picture him being in sgh. and yes, i agree with people who think that the writer hates meredith. i mean, COME ON..!, give her a break. poor meredith. i love her still too. but for me this season is not rockin. i still love the 1st & 2nd season wayyy more.

I thought this was the worse episode of Grey's, to date. I've been an avid fan since day one and I'm disappointed in the show tonight. Addy's new story line was boring. They had a great cast of characters but they didn't do anything worthwhile with them. I don't care if they write the Addison character off Grey's; the first season was fabulous without her, but I will never watch the new show again. I was frustrated that the entire episode centered on Addy and not on our favorite characters.
Meredith: People change, but they don't change.
