I think I know what caused the ferry accident.
There was a whole pod of sharks in the harbor - and the show jumped over the whole freaking bunch of them.
And for the first few seasons, this show was so good - and this season it just plain sucked. It had some good moments, but overall the suckage just brought even those highs down.
Drama does not mean nothing but cheating spouses and breaking up boyfriends/girlfriends. And they can dial back on the medical cases from Ripleys Believe it or Not.
So sad...
Back to E.R. I guess...

OMG. this was the most disappointing episode i have EVER seen. the only good part was the eyebrows! and i guess that richard and adelle are "back togheter" or whatever. Mer and Der: Seriously. Someone's life cant ALWAYS go wrong! something has to happen worth while at some point! ARGH! i just wanted to scream! and the whole twist with lexie. if her and mcdreamy hook up, i'm gonna throw up. and then stop watching forever. akjshdkashdksahdakuwhds

I am getting tired of "McWhiny" I thought the reason she had the death experience was suppose to give her a new outlook on life and kind of revamp her character. I do admit she is alot better now than she was. But, she can never get a break. Does anyone know if her and Der broke up? At the beginning of the episode she told Cris that her marrying Burke is proof that girls like them can have their happily ever after. Since the wedding didnt happen...will SHE leave Der? I think their is going to be a love triangle with Lexie Mer and Der next season.

I think that the episode was very well written. I was not disapointed with the show but with the outcomes of particular situations but it wouldn't be Grey's Anatomy without those minor disapointments! Plus, without disapointments the episodes written to bring us out of that dispointment wouldn't be so great actually. I like how this show truly shows that life isn't always perfect and like a fairy tale but it can be very difficult and disapointing at times. I watched the last half of the show with my jaw on the ground which is what I love. Intensity and passion. Thats what keeps me watching. I have no doubt next season will bring the same.

I was totally disappointed. The writer's obviously can't let anyone's character be happy. I've been through many cliff-hangers throughout my television watching life...but this wasn't even a cliff-hanger. This had "walk away and slit your wrists" written all over it. I'm giving them the 1st episode in the fall to hopefully right something or I'm not watching anymore.

The episode couldn't have been any better IMO. The show has a history of being about love lost, what could have been, etc. What did anyone expect? I was delighted with every detail, especially that ava was not in her room and that there is a new "grey" in the picture. They can totally change the cast for next year and anything would fit at this point. Wow. And another great song.

Is anyone else? It was all shocking but it lacked something... I am sure that Mer's sister will be horrible to her next season. I wonder what the point of her staying to talk to George was other than any advice. Shonda I am sure has something in store for next season with this.

I second that, what the hell did just happen? There's nothing exciting to look forward to, or did I miss something? Everything ended so not the way anyone would have ever predicted. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Grey's has in store for us next season.

AAHHH! What an episode.....there's no way I can wait until next season....too intense! I agree with letting Meredith and Derek be for a while, let them at lease TRY to be a normal couple. I couldn't believe Christina's reaction when Burk left at the end of the episode. I mean, you knew how she was feeling but her complete melt down was shocking!! I heart breaks for George, what more can I say!!!??? I SO want Alex to get with Ava/Rebecca! They're so cute!!!! Anyway, AWSOME episode, but it's going to be killer to have to wait!

this is what i think is going to happen. the chief is going to stay the cheif when adele dies.addison is going to leave ms steamy heartbroken, and he will turn to mer his friend,who in turn is mad at mcdreamy for acting like such a jerk.the new love triangle will be mer/ der/ lexie but mcsteamy will be waiting in the wings christin and burke will marry and george chooses izzie bcause callie is leaving the show.lexie going after der is revenge for her mom's death

If Derrick and Meridith break up, I will no longer watch the show. Why can't you let the couples be happy and let the story be about the medical cases. I hate to see George and Izzy together. Let Izzy find a hot guy or hook up with Alex. Meridth's father is a jerk.

Greys is starting to piss me off, always making stupid endings like denny died, like wtf man, I love Greys Anotomys to death but still, people give of something to look forward to next year, like Maradith and Derek are like made fer eachother, but theere acting like they are over, like how fucking stupid, but w.e, GREYS IS AWESOME THERES NO OTHER SHOW LIKE IT

i've been very disappointed with the missing love connection between mer and derik. i really fell in love with the show because of their connection. i hope the writers bring back the fire between mer and derik. i'm really not interested in watching the show without them as a couple. to the writers please keep at least one relationship on your show constant and let it be mer and derik. on and off again partners on your show is too much of what you get in the real world . the relationship built between mer/der was great to watch. it's a match alot of people would love to have, gives hope for those watching that dont have it. please bring love and fire back to mer/der.
