I am so glad that someone like Ellen said this. This goes to show me that she is even more amazing than before. I am really glad that I chose her as a role model! And, I am really happy that she said it because I couldn't have said it better.

Ellen Pompeo is an excellent human being and an amazing actress. Both my sons, wife and I adore her. watch Greys mostly because of her. I think with her voicing her positive opinions, Shes an excellent role model as you guys mentioned.

and there was something in my local newspaper about what she said about paris hilton.

I agree with all of you I think that the Media and the rest of the world should focus on positive people in hollywood like Ellen, and Patrick, Ellen is a great person to look up to, people like Ellen give kids another outlook on life like if they complete school and work hard they can get a great job, and a great future. keep up the good work.

08/11 - We have some inside scoop on the new Grey's Anatomy interns who will be descending on Seattle Grace this season. Of course, we all know about Lexie played by Chyler Leigh (who will be a regular cast member this season). But what about the other newbie interns? Claire will be played by Tymberlee Chanel who is a relatively unknown newcomber to television save for two guest roles. The first was on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation this year and Numb3rs. Graciella is played by Gloria Garayua. She has had some guest starring roles in Cold Case, the ill-received 3 Lbs., Strong Medicine, Joey, Six Feet Under and others. Leo has had plenty of guest starring television roles as well, such as Dexter, That '70s Show, The X-Files and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. But also a relative newcomber to the scene. i really hope i get to meet one day and im glad she saying this about the media i mean she totally right girls shouldnt look up to celebritys just because they are skinny shes is definatley my role model and she will one day make a really great mother

I think she looks great for someone who is so close to 40. She is thin and looks very healthy. She keeps a low profile for a popular Hollywood star. This story was featured on MSN's home page and the only comments I read that were bad were about her boyfriend and his old felony conviction. She's a great person and I have a lot of respect for her. Now that she has said this some people will try their hardest to discredit her and it's a shame.

The picture was from their Europe tour 2006. They loked tired in those pictures, I didn't like them much. They let them get enough rest on these tours it seems.
I saw the pictures of this interview on E! News yesterday, her LA Confidential cover and inside photos that go with the rest of this article.. one word AMAZING!
can't wait till wednesday. hope someone can scan it for us, I don't get it here :(

this article was in our newspaper today and it had a picture of kate walsh instead of ellen. :D

Go StephRo! You're exctly right! If everyone in the world were more like Ellen, the world would perfect. People like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie set very bad examples for their children fans. These people get arrested and sent to jail for drunk driving more than once a week. That's horrible. I'm sure most of us commenting on this are at least 12... I'm about to be 15... and we don't exactly look up to people like Lindsay, Paris, or Nicole because we know right from wrong. But kids that are 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10... they don't exactly know what's right and what's not. Ellen Pompeo seems to be very polite, IS very BEAUTIFUL, and IS very tallented. If more child and teen stars were like her, I believe today's children would have better role models. I know I have a GREAT role model, and her name is Ellen Pompeo.

Ellen Pompeo seems like such a sweet person! I'm glad she's so down to earth. We need more people like her in our world- those who are responsible and know whats important, and I must say we should have less freaks like Lindsay Lohan in the media's spotlight!
