Grey's Anatomy Caption Contest LXXI
It was a national holiday, but that didn't hold back the Caption Contest - the weekly Grey's Anatomy Insider tradition - in its 71st consecutive week.
We were sent some terrific ones this week and we almost chose the captions by LaurenKendall, Laura and Tracy. But we had to go with Kathryn. We had no idea George was such a big Justin Timberlake fan! The winning entry appears under the photo, and all the replies can be read by scrolling down the page.

Christina- "I can't believe you told him you loved him, I didn't know that! Did you sleep with him too? *Laughing*
George- *Looks at Izzy*
Christina- "Oh wow, first you try to get with a patient now with Syph boy!"

Cristina: ... and he left! Left! And had the nerve to get his mother, who thinks I'm a racist stripper, to TELL me he's not coming back!
Izzie: ... my interns really respect me don't they, they're talking behind my back about Denny and it's only the first day! They just can't be the boss of me, can't!
George: Well, since I'm Meredith's intern and she knows me, I get to do all the cool procedures... so failing the intern exam does have its peaks.
Cristina: One more word, Bambi, and I will crush your soul like I'd like to crush Burke's...

Izzie: Not if it's a colon/rectal surgery. My entire morning was practice.
George: Now I think I will puke.

George: We all made mistakes Izzie, all three of us, but somehow i lost my best friend and the woman i loved.
Cristina: Wait.. he's still together with Callie. Which has to make you the best friend AND the woman he loves. WHAAAT?!?
Izzie: Thanks for clarifying, Cristina. And George! What happened to keeping it quiet?!

George: (thoughts) "If I keep chewing my food then I won't have to answer about who it is that I really like"
