NEWSFLASH FROM ALL LEADING BROADSHEETS AND TABLOIDS!!!
Sunday, September 16, 2007 â€" a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by bad taste and acting ability of Katherine Hy-gel.
The United States was at peace with the fact that she could not act and, at the solicitation of Academy of Arts, was still in conversation with the various television and movie distributors looking toward the keeping her off television entirely.
Indeed, one hour after Hy-gel won, a plane crashed in Thailand and OJ was arrested. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue giving out Emmys based upon talent and acting, it contained no threat or hint of realism or acting merit.
It will be recorded that the tragedy that was her performance makes it obvious that the this bullshit was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Emmy people has deliberately sought to deceive the Unit

Micha - What did Ted Casablanca say?
If really he has a personal grudge on Heigl, that's because she's a fuckin' diva and she's a dumb bitch.

Grey's Sandra and Chandra Got The Shaft
Remote Access TV Blog:
Puh-leeze! The Emmy for best supporting actress on a drama went to Katherine Heigl instead of one of her nominated costars, Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson? Whatâ€"the voters cast their ballots based on which of them has the best whine and vacant stare? Heigl's acting skills are faint compared to Oh's and Wilson's. I even thought that she was sometimes over her head on "Roswell" (on which her character was also nicknamed Izzie). Oh's and Wilson's characters require so much more thought and skill than Heigl's, and they carry it off beautifully. The only times that Heigl had to show any true flair was when Denny died, and even those scenes were a bit overwrought.
Perhaps the Emmy folks cast their votes based only on the candidates' looks. OK, so Heigl would win that one (even though her hair is obviously bleached blond within an inch of its life), but Hollywood has a lot more pretty blond gi

i believe that katherine heigl is a great actress.
i believe that she was great in season two.
i believe that SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE WON THE EMMY.
i believe that chandra wilson and especially sandra oh were more deserving of it.
i believe that all of the grey's girls deserve it, but that SO and CW deserve it more and should have won, but am glad that at least one of the grey's girls won.

I believe that some people like misery. I believe that some people just want their voices to be heard. I believe that believing this makes me an intelligent person who knows the truth that Katherine Heigl fucked with the Emmy accountants.

I just want to make it clear that this hatred and disdain is for both the character and actress. Ya hear? Heigl is a f*cking diva. I totally agree with the I believe parody above! Luv it!
LANA.... You are so right on. It's all about marketability, not because she's the best. Now how can you say that the award was well-deserved when it is judged from that?

You are so missing the point. If Lorraine Bracco or any of the other nominees EXCEPT HEIGL had won would be acceptable. I am sure that all her co-nominees felt violated and insulted, but were gracious enough not to comment because they know the truth that Heigl f*cked with the accountants.

Some of you are so rude. Sure maybe katherine wasn't the best, but she still did a good job this season. Also your hatred of her character has nothing to do with her being a bad actress...in fact, she did a really good job at being really selfish and nasty this season, that's probably why she won. My god ppl, most ppl who win oscars and emmys and stuff don't usually win for likeable characters. Duh. I mean seriously! And like other ppl have been saying, if you don't even know her, you can't critisize her personally.

if someone i didn't like won, i wouldn't be trashing them like some ppl are..it's really immature.
i know you all have some of your opinions..and all u can say is whether u think or dnt think she deserved it..but trashing her like that..HOW ABOUT we act like we are OLDER than 5!
99.999% (including myself) of you all DON'T know her and WILL NEVER meet her..so none of u all have the RIGHT to judge her like that.
personally, i think any of the Grey's girls deserved it and i'm glad it was her! Congratulations!
sorry for the long comment..but i get really pissed to see ppl making IMMATURE comments about ANYONE(not just Katherine Heigl)..especially if they dnt deserve it..

There sure are a lot of haters on this board. That is really too bad. It's one thing to express an opinion, but to say she had to f*** the "Emmy Accountants" to win is just pure hatred and immaturity. I'm not saying everyone on this board are required to love the gir, but my goodness, it's not her fault she won. I really wanted Kyra Sedgwick to win best actress, but I'm not going to trash Sally Fields and say she had to spread her legs to win. The emmy voters voted for who they thought were the best. She won. Sorry if folks here are jealous. That is just my opinion. Way to go Katherine!

ps. her hug with t.r. knight.. omg wow. they are true true friends and clearly love each other alot.. can't wait to see where they go on grey's this season!

I don't think she deserved to win.
However, I'm sure the fact that she was in a movie this summer that did very well at the box office probably had something to do with it. It's all about money and marketability... actors/actresses get the kudos when they're hot, not because they are the best.

Random backstage thoughts ‘n' bits from a relentless snoop:
About-Puss: Interesting thing, being anointed with Emmy dust. You suddenly start making moves that really, really aren't like those you made beforeâ€"at least, with some broads. Katherine Heigl abandoned us ink types backstage after her big win for Supporting Actress, Drama. Remember when folks gave me a hard time for stirring things up, Isaiah Washington-wise, at this year's Globes show?
Well, Katy-babe was the true rebel in that sitch, telling myriad electronic outlets how wrong it was that Isaiah used the F-word in his response to my question about whether or not the cast had moved on, and she wasn't even directly nominated! This year, she nabs the top prize, and she's a no show? Darling, think of the coverage you coulda got at that one this year. Or did your peeps advise otherwise?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If people want to vent, let them vent. If people want to praise, let them praise. This is not a one-sided board. And just because people are fans of shows, does not mean they have to like all the characters or actors/actresses.
And what The Observer posted at 10:49 was an excerpt from Entertainment Weekly's Live Blog at the Emmys.

Wow! This borad is an ugly shade of green. I say congrats to Katherine on her Emmy win. I was hoping one of the gals from GA would win and I'm glad it was her. Personally she should have one last year because she was incredible during the whole Denny storyline. Yeah, she had some annoying moments this season, but only a few. The storyline with her donating bone marrow to her daughter was fantastic. And she really did an excellent job and is deserving of her win!
Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson are incredible actresses and they too would have deserved to win. But the way this board is trashing Katherine is immature and ridiculous. Grow up. Congrats Katherine on your win and to Sandra and Chandra and TR for your much deserved nomination.

"I used to love Grey's, but I can confidently say that they do not deserve to win."
Ok the obsever fine you don't like the show anymore but then why do you bother posting on a fan site? In fact, why are any of you " fans" posting such hateful comments about the show or it's actors? If you have a legitimate criticism that's one thing but really most of these comments are simply hateful and petty. Why are you making yourselves so upset watching a show and keeping up with news on it if it makes you so miserable you have to post this kind of stuff? I just don't get it.
