In the Soap Opera Spotlight: Robert Bogue

by at . Comments
Robert Bogue PictureRobert Bogue has been entertaining fans of Guiding Light for years now.

But many viewers may not be familiar with the following facts about the handsome actor:

  • Bogue is a founding member of the New Group Theater Company, a Manhattan-based production group.
  • After filming Bob Dylan's music video years ago, the iconic musician tried to give Bogue his harmonica. Unfortunately, when Bogue excused himself to use the bathroom, Dylan ended up leaving and giving the harmonica to someone else.
  • The A.C. in Mallet's name stands for Anthony Camaletti.
  • Has been known to improvise dialogue, as he said to Soap Opera Digest a year ago;

"We try to sharpen the dialogue up a bit, or try to raise the stakes to add as much comedy as we can to try to get that locker room banter going," he said about himself and co-star Ricky Paull Goldin.
