Give it up. Mer & Der are really old hat. Mer has gotten dreary and boring. Like to see someone add fresh face and some spunk to the show. Lauren (Rose) looks like a great "interest" for Der. He needs some happiness and smiles in his life... Give Miss Rose a chance. She might surprise you all. I have never missed Greys, but up until now is was starting to get boring!!! Shonda don't be intimidated! There are a lot of us who like the new girl Nurse Rose.

I had gotten away from watching Grey's anatomy due to work. Now that Lauren is on the show, I won't miss an episode. It's an easy way to see what family is up to :)

I think that Lauren is Derek's new love interest. I know, I know everyone wants to see Derek with Merideth, but she needs to tell him what she wants. I think that the scrub nurse (Lauren) is going to force Merideth to decide what she wants and tell Derek how she feels.

woahhh no wayyyy ! meredith and derek HAVE to stay togetherrrr ! viewers love seeing their relationship. if derek has a new lover then i wud go nutsss. meredith and derek are a perfect couple. sure they have some arguements but thats wat makes a relationship grow. they have to stay together until the end. lauren seems good on the show but she cud be one of dereks sisters and nothing else. this season shud juss be derek and meredith fixing up their relationship with some sort of drama tho. they shud be together with no other man or woman involved.

Great to see Lauren Stamile on the show. She was raised in Tulsa, OK. by wonderful parents. Her Dad is an orthopeadic surgeon and her Mom and nurse. I use to work for years with her Dad in surgery. They are so proud of her and I hope the rest of the country agrees. This is one of the nicest families you could ever know. Very friendly, kind and down-to-earth.
I remember Lauren, her sisters and little brother coming with their Dad to work and hanging out in the emergency room while he did some emergency surgery. They were little, so cute & charming. It's so cool to see Lauren grown up and being in a TV hospital vs. the real one she "grew up" in with her Dad.

I don't want Rose to meddle with Meredith and Derek, but by the looks of this season's love affairs, it's all going down hill. First Mer/Der decides on S&M only, then Gizzie decides to try to make it work, then Alex and Lexie are "caught in the act". Not to mention Addison and Burke leaving SGH. All relationships have been heading downhill. Although I don't want Mer/Der to end, but maybe Derek is feeling the strain of their relationship, and wants some more action.

She's great looking. Though meredith is sleeping whith derek, she doesn't decide to give "the step", so this nurse should provide some spice to this novel. When meredith and derek stay togheter, the novel will end! Nobody wants that.

why? seriously the show was looking so good from the last couple of episodes now they are going to bring this new chick in??? what happened to all the good things in season 1&2 either put them together or break them up forever (personally i hope you put them together) just please make up your mind and stop doing this circle thing

She's a love interest. Name's Rose, is a scrub nurse (LOW!!!!SURGEONS R 4 DEREK) He keeps seeing her. So I think she's a love interest but screw her. I mean Temperance Brennan "Bones" is so much prettier than her.
Derek is (1) not creepy (2) being a dumdum (3) way too flirtatious (4) overusing his hair gel and (5) letting ShondA (SCREW U SHONDA) do this to us

Derek needs a real relationship...or at least to smile more. Meredith needs to stop the pity-party and get on with her medical career. She could stand to take a few lessons from Cristina. As for Lauren Stamile; let her be the fire in the seat of Meredith Grey. Liven up this storyline or I'm walking...I've endured 3 years to get to what?, two good characters walk out of SGH and another is trying her best to bulldoze everybody she can to get in on the good surgeries. Enough already! This is getting too "Young and the Restless-y"!!

I hope she's a new love interest, I'm getting so fed up with the MerDer stuff, it's time to change things!! McDreamy is getting too McSad, out with the tortured man, in with a newfound, happy, and very in love man. And that leaves room for a New Hot love interest voor Meredith.. Yay! Also, more of Mcsteamy&Christina&Bailey!! Great characters and great actors.

Shondra, if you're paying attention to these comments, you'll quickly see your viewers are losing patience and becoming almost bored with these ongoing mer & der episodes. Until you guys figure out a better way to help their relationship mature, PLEASE let us see more of Bailey & Christina, & McSteamy! These strong characters deserve more script time, and P.S. Where did the old Izzie go?

my bestfriend and i have this brilliant, very very very unlikely outcome, that she will be another one of his sisters. he does not need a new girlfriend or lover or whatever, he has meredith and that is definitly enough.

Shonda, if you are reading this, what is going on lately? I have stopped watching because I am so tired of the same old same old with Derek and Meredith. Last season was such a disappointment, that I can't imagine watching again unless things get way better. What happened to the show? Seasons one and two were so amazing! Why are things always so disappointing?

Oh I think this is more than Derek's sister. I think the writers of Greys think they are a little more important than they are. It what the fans want and we don't want any more triangles or mess ups for Derek and Meredith. If we don't get a good story line with theses two characters very soon...I'm done.

Really its a bit boring...cause these happened before...They were with other people in season 2 so....I think it will be better anothe story...and no another woman ou guy. Its necesary a hot romance betwen Mer & Der!!!! XXOOOXX from Argentina.
