I agree with hafsa! The story they have is so sweet!!! We like to believe in fairy tales, dont mess this one please... or if they have any approach with anyone else... they should still be clearly thinking about each other and get back together soon... soon...
The game they play is so lovely! they have the connection, the magic unexplainable thing...
Still... I have this feeling that Ellen Pompeo might be thinking on leaving the show for proffesional reasons... so thats why they included some other "Grey" for Greys Anatomy... and thats why they are fallin appart... I hope this all just in my mind, but you know, this things happens... that when they start to succed they leave the show so they dont stay sticked with the character forever... and they can grow as actors... bla bla

I am going to enjoy her guest apperance on Grey's just because she'll bring something new and fresh to the show.(although I would have probably cast her as Derek's sister/mark's new love interest)
And I just read on spoilerfix.com that her character's name on the show is Rose and she'll be a fellow doctor. I don't know if she'll be from SGH or MW. She'll also be on for awhile but I think that everyone already knew that part.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be another one of derek's sisters, i mean he does have 4!!!!!! i don't think i could take it if they tear apart mer and der by bringing in this one hot chick. i mean how can the writers and Shonda ruin all that they have by doing this?!?! SERIOUSLY!!!! :( oh, and to comment back to rose, you're totally right, they should just stick to adding more hot, McSexy guys to the show!!!! :)

Hello?? Can anyone say love interest for McSteamy?? The SGH ladies have compared note and Mark is on their sh*tlist. He's not getting into anyones scrubs but his own. And can you think of a better way to keep Derrick distracted than having Mark try to hook up with his baby sister (or even better, the sister going after Mark)?? And how can he possibly look at other women when he has to keep his eyes on those two??

I've read that she IS a love interest and will be around for a while.
She is suppose to be the "anti-Meredith," which will leave Derek torn.
Come on Shonda!!! You lured viewers into this show with this romance, gave us hope, tore it away, and are now shredding it.

Sorry everybody, but it was reported that she was a potential love interest. But remember, Shonda did say she cant picture him going anywhere but Meredith. So cling on to faith thatit will just be a fling or maybe love but we all know Derek will come back. Who knows, maybe it will finally hit Meredith that she's nothing without her McDreamy.

Hafsa you are sooooo right. We, (well almost) all of us hung in there with Grey even when it made that horrible downward spiral. We deserve a reward, aka McDreamy and Meridith.

Well, I miss Addison, such a great woman and they need a foil for Bailey, who is not an attending. However, like all the other romantics (& there are some who are not), the show was set up with Mer/Derand given that they have tortured Mer to the point its hard to watch (been upping the ante from the Hello Kitty bandage to the inane morphine speech, tacky wedding speech, the endlessly walking away man, the family (and to my way of thinking, the slightly boring at this point abandonment issues)). It's almost sadistic.
So, if she's the new love interest, I think I finally would not be able to watch any more much as I like the other characters. Too painful.

I somewhat agree with scared. I am so tired of the Mer/Der story....she needs someone new. She has relationship issues anyway...and then the one man she meets & falls for....she finds out he never told her he was married......then when she meets the wife, she begs him to pick her, which he doesn't... then when she tries to move on, he's up her "you know what" all over again......GET OVER IT ALREADY!!!! Give Meredith a man who will be honest, love her for who she is, accept who she is, and let's please move on.

I agree , she does have great hair, so she could totally be a Shepherd! ***SPOILER ALERT*** And yes, I too heard that Derek's sis Kathleen or Kathy, w/e her name is, was supposed to show up. I just hope this is her. She is sooooooo insanely pretty!!! Totally seein her as a female version of McDreamy.

I really think she could be McDreamy's sister.Maybe she will like Meredith(unlike Nancy),help her with her "severe emotional limitations" and they could even become friends or something...

I always thought Derek was just a tiny bit creepy. The way he was always starin and leerin after meredith in season two. Now he's actin like a stalker runnin after her like a drug addict. I just thought eeeww. The way he was kissin her last week creeped me out. I think meredith needs someone fresh

AGREED! McSister is great, shrink to help Mer, great. If she's a "love interest" for McDreamy I think my freakin' head will explode!
