The Grey's Anatomy Insider staff has posted its episode guide to "The Heart of the Matter," taking you through the action at Seattle Grace from beginning to end. See what you missed or relive the drama in our official episode recap.

We've also posted a list of the episode's music selections (comment or e-mail us if you can find any of the missing lyrics) as well as a photo gallery. We're working on our list of quotes, and our round table discussion is still to come, too.

As always, you can discuss "The Heart of the Matter," along with everything else Grey's Anatomy, in our FORUM. We welcome all views and comments!

In my opinion the way the Cheif handled his niece, it was the best way he knew how. She is an adult. If she wants to give up, if she doesn't want to go through the pain- if she just wants to live her life the best way she can until the day God takes her home, that's all that matters. His wife is being incredibly selfish and if that was her reasoning to leave him behind, she's being even MORE selfish. I feel sorry for the Chief this time. He was being the only selfless person in that scenario!

And again, there didn't happen a lot during this episode, except the Callie/Gizzie thing...
The MerDer situations are always a bit the same: they have a conversation, Derek says things, Mer has tears in her eyes and doesn't reply,...
BUT I loved it when Derek said 'I wanna marry you ' :D

i love alex. He' s such a character. I never know what he really feels. Hope he and izzie hook up again, after all this George and upcomin Ava thing. They would be much more interesting story, close to merder.

omg...Gizzie is so cool! i really want to see those two together for a long time. if u really look back you can see how much they have been already "a couple". He cares so dearly for Izzie and Izzie has always been there to support George no matter what! Aren't they just cute? so..hopefully they can get over this rough patch and get on with their relationship! i wanna is it grow!

I'm not much of a banndwagoner with Gizzie. I think that Izzie should hook up with Alex and George with Lexie. Sara did some awesome acting during the episode, though. All in all, I thought the episode was good but slightly predictable in terms of what was happening with the characters and such. All hail Derek + Meredith fans :D
Can't wait until the next episode. hehe

Right now, Gizzie is the one reason I watch. I do know they cannot be togetehr right away but I do wish the show would pick up speed on this story. Yes george loves Callie but he is in love with izzie and she is in love with him and they should be together. Could we have had one scene where he told Izzie he loved her? I am getting tired of waiting.

No they do not need to drop Gizzie, in fact, I want them together more than ever. Their love is obviously real and while it may not be easy, I do want them to fight for it. Alex was not being honest, Alex was having his huge ego wounded by the fact Izzie never loved him at all ahd she is totally in love with george. He never got why Callie and Olivia loved him either. Maybe because despite the affair, George is actually a sweet, wonderful, caring guy not an ego-centric ass like Alex.

Indeed, I also miss Addie (and Burke). They were great.
Can somebody put it on fanpop or something.. Can't wait to see the episode ( as a not american)

Grey's is much better without Addison!

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Vulnerability isn't the opposite of strength. It's a necessary part. You have to force yourselves to open up, to expose ourselves, to offer everything we have and just pray that it's good enough. Otherwise, we'll never succeed.

Meredith

Our lives are built on our mistakes as much as our successes.
