Chace Crawford is crazy about Carrie Underwood.

So is the Dallas native's entire family, apparently!

"His whole family loves her," a friend of the reported couple tells Us Weekly this week. "They are really perfect for each other."

After the American Idol winner, 24, spent Thanksgiving with the Gossip Girl hottie, 22, at his parents' home in Dallas, she joined his relatives on part of her Christmas vacation as well, the magazine reports.

"They spent Christmas together and had a wonderful time," a source says. "His parents are fond of her and think she's extremely talented. And they believe "Carrie Crawford" would be a great addition to the family!"

While loving Chace Crawford (don't we all) Carrie Underwood has no regrets about her July split from Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

"She thanks her lucky stars she isn't with Tony anymore!" adds the Us source. "She thinks it's a joke he's with Jessica Simpson and sees him as a player. Carrie and Chace call him 'the player' and Jessica 'the ditz.'"
