TEAM MEREDITH! all I can say is that Derek knew she has sever issues, he knew what he was getting into, he should never have kissed Rose, and he should have waited to show Meredith the house plans.
Derek brought all of this onto himself- he dug his own hole.

I am so sick of Rose. I don't know what the writers are thinking about putting Derek and Rose together, Yuck! Even Addison and Derek had more passion together on the screen then Rose and Derek. Where's the sparks?
What I am sick of the most is that Shonda said months ago that Meredith was Derek's heart and that she couldn't see him with anyone else other then Meredith but now he's kissing and wanting to date Rose? Shonda what were you thinking? No one talks about a life together in a "Dream House" and then goes out and dates the first girl that acutally kissed you one time just because you are throwing a tantrum that the woman you want to marry isn't ready for it.
Derek needs to seriously Grow up and get some sense in him and go back for Mer and apologize for acting so juvenile. The thing is that Der knows that Mer has issues but fails to see that he also has major issues. He needs to slow down and she totally needs to speed up. Derek hello!!, how about you show Mer for th

Alright, lets talk.
Izzie and Alex- so hot. They are the perfect ying and yang couple without losing any sexual attraction. Izzie's all hopeful and caring, and Alex is all rough and sarcastic. They balance each other out. They both have their problems, ie. Izzie's messy love history (affair with George and thing with Denny) and Alex's wierd past (drunk father and whatever), but they work as a couple. George and Izzie are cute, but so do not have the couple vibe going.
Mer and Der- duh. How could they live without seeing each other? They are Grey's Anatomy. It wouldn't be right. And Rose? She is so completely random and unattractive. She and Derek do not have that undeniable attraction that he and Meredith have. We want Derek and Meredith. We demand them. Our faith, our hope, our ability to faithfully watch every single episode, and believe so strongly in each characters' problems, triumphs, and failures will be tarnished if Meredith Grey and Derek Sheppard decide to part ways fore

Does anyone remember in I think Season 3, when Derek's sister Nancy visited. Remember her talking with him at Joe's and telling him he can't be alone and that he just needs time to be alone. Well, I think him right away running to Rose to ask her out is in tune with his character and his insecurity of being alone. Anyway, it's just an observation.

Nola...i agree with you completely!!! I miss the season 3 Greys anatomy!! I miss Gizzie!! I want them as a couple again...and Come on!! They didn't even speak to each other in ep11 which seemed stupid and unreasonable!! They can't act like nothing happened!! i love george and izzie...and i guess its over with callie, so he can move on to Izzie! they need each other, i hate to see alex and izzie together...he was a sex toy ppl!! nothing more. anyways...george is so sad being alone now...and izzie should comfort him! :)
Gizzie rocks..and so does Merder...but sadly Derek is being an ass!

i HATE rose ! can they just pls take her out ? she's really boring and a stalker ! and i really hate what shonda's doing to the characters ! she's destroying them ! meredith is so out of touch with reality. she has just too many issues. and it seems like she's not getting any better. mcdreamy has been replaced with mcasss. who says to a girl that he wants to spend his lifetime with her and yet he kisses a plant ! dr. bailey is one of my favorite character. i felt so sad when they ended her marriage. it's like the creators are trying to say that a woman can't have a successful career and a happy family at the same time ! i miss the old alex, izzie, george and christina ! their sarcasm and playful banter were the funniest ! and i miss mcsteamy's old manwhore ways ! i want the old grey's back !

Shonda please, I will tolerate MerDer breaking up, Derek and Rose of the no chemistry hooking up, my Cristina being trashed and getting no story as long as you give George and Izzie a real chance of romance. I have been waiting 4 SEASONS for George and Izzie to get together and they were as amazing as I always dreamed they would be until episode 7 and its stupidity of no chemistry. No chemistry when those two have more chemistry than anyone, not sure whether that should make me laugh or cry.
Please please please put George and Izzie back together.

I think that Bailey's marriage will not last but i think that is ok 4 her because she seems so unhappy. I think that in another few episodes things will start to heat up with Alex and Izzie again. He really does care so much about her and its easy to tell even if his character can't. I AM TEAM MEREDITH. Derek has been a jerk. No matter how meredith acts derek knew what he was getting into when he got involved and if he really loved her he would learn to accept her for who she is. I think that lexie and george should move into together because they both really need a friend right now. and going back to Der and Mer, I think he is great and Patrick Dempsey is amazing. But his character lost what we used to love about him. His sense of humor and his exciting personality. Now he is either sad or grumpy or meredith is sad or grumpy. They just don't work any more.

I was remembering some comments from Eric Dane, (Sloan) I think with TV Guide not too long ago....there may be trouble again with Sloan and Derek. And we know now what that most likely will be because of.......... MEREDITH!
So I thought that once Sloan finds out about Mer/Der breaking up that he will start trying to make his moves on Meredith. You know that will NOT sit well with Derek. I don't think she would sleep with him but just the fact that she had a drink with him would drive Derek crazy! And I would not be surprised if Sloan has already slept with Rose.

This is really a GREAT link that will make you feel better about the craziness that has been happening with DER. It seems like most of us are really ticked off at DER and this site will help you to understand that he was supposed to fall off the pedestal and then redeem himself later.

I like that I might have been right in predicting that Mc Steamy and Rose might be the ones that eventually get together after DER goes back to MER and hopefully it stays that way. I am actually getting excited to see the "predicted" all out fight between them that will probably end with a pretty hot make-up scene! After all the other stuff we have had to watch- it will be a pretty good pay off!
The first scene with MERDER was totally confusing for me! (the egg part was great!)

Poor Miranda, I knew that was going to happen, it's so typical.
Lexie&George I think are going to wind up going out or having sex. Something to cause more problems.
Team meredith vs. Team Derek - Meredith is totally chickenin' out for no reason I mean, Derek keeps trying to make things happen but she keeps backing away. It's like "What do you want from the guy?" - so I hope they get back, because that would be really cool, Meredith needs learn to trust people. Give Derek a second chance, he's trying.
