2) Rose out of MerDer's picture and together with some other guy at Seattle Grace
3) Lexie and Alex all the way.
4) Gizzie.
5) Erica and Mark. If that doesn't work out, Callie and Mark could happen.

i think greyswatcher's ideas r very interesting but i don't see the show go there. cause grey's has this uniquness of never having its characters analyzing things so much, yet their actions, decitions and even their acting show it all. so i dont beleive that merder's issues can be resolved through a big talk, cause thats not what they do. i'd expect smth big 2 happen, like a super bowl episode in which smth happens to derek this time, like s/o else has suggested in another post. anyway i'd also like to see her flirt with mark, as this can serve 2 purposes: get derek jealous and resolve 4 good mark's and derek's issues.

I HAVE AN IDEA!!!
Why not bring David Beckham in as "THE MAN WHO CATCHES MER'S EYE THE WAY INSIPID ROSE CAUGHT DEREK'S" in his totally selfish, unMcDreamy state? (The kiss he shared with Rose made me want to vomit in my mouth and I found it very depressing) SERIOUSLY! A mega sexy man like Becks, who wants Meredith from the first eye contact. She can use someone like him right now to prove to her that there is someone who still thinks she is "lovable" and "worth waiting for while she heals". That she is not 'all dark and twisty and unlovable'. Becks is way beyond sexy. He could fall for Meredith the same way Derek did the first time he saw her. Only this time there is no sex involved. Meredith doesn't make that mistake again. Make Derek stand up, and take notice and realize he is making the biggest mistake of his life, by acting immaturely, stupidly, and very selfishy. Don't you think that MER is going to be FURIOUS when she SEES or finds out that DER ends it with her and then is immediately out with Rose? I think she will be calling him something more than ASS. MER has to be careful with using Mark-there are still RAW feelings about him! (I think she realizes it but she is going to be pissed and really hurt!) I like greyswatcher's idea. I was thinking something similar with MER hooking up with Mark accidentally to share that they have broken-up AGAIN! Maybe he can shed some light on DER for her……………

I agree with greyswatcher. but wonder what would happen if mark could give mer what she needed. Time, understanding, space, but a good, fun, lite hearted relationship. but i deep down i want der and mer back together. i would like to see more action christina's way. she hasn't been very interesting this season.

mer and der: they are becoming way too boring its like o were together o now were not.. make up ur mind shonda and if it doesnt work out give us some GOOD guest stars as a love interest (no one like rose) i mean bring in like brad pitt!
izzie: i think it would actually be interesting if she started her own real relationship with sloan... she could probably change him and they would make an interesting couple
george and callie: need to stay away from each other and NEVER get back together!

I would love to see the scenario that greyswatcher created. It would really let Meredith and Derek work out their own problems and get to the point where they are emotionally stable. Meredith could get help from another man to realize that she needs to let her emotions out instead of keeping them welled up inside of her, like a dark cloud looming above her head. Derek would also realize with Rose that Meredith was the only one who he really loved and let his true emotions come to the surface as well.
Even though I do not like the idea of Rose with Derek and Meredith with another man, I still think it would strengthen their bond as lovers and would give the audience a little bit of fresh air.
I would also love to see Bailey and Tucker work things out, seeing as they were the only true working couple up until the point where we left off. Their relationship working out would give us hope that the writers can keep a couple together without slicing and dicing them up.

i like greyswatcher's idea. they should give each other space and time for healing and for them to realize that they can't live without each other.
but during the separation, meredith should discover that she's pregnant with derek's baby(of course.) and this will bring them back together-stronger and more loving partners. then they should face problems of a married doctors, too busy to build a family.

Hey Greyswatcher: I just love the storyline you just created! Now that would be an episode well worth watching. Both Mer and Der need something to happen that will make them realize that they need to be together! I'm sure Rose will serve her purpose though.
I wish Dr. Bailey and Tucker would work things out in that marriage. They have a beautiful son to raise.....together. Tucker knew what he was up against when he married a doctor. He never should have volunteered to be a "house husband".
I want to see Callie and George move on to other people. He never loved her as much as she loved him anyway. Neither one needs to be married right now. And Christina needs a man!!
Alex needs to get into a serious relationship. I don't think he needs to be with Ava or Lexie either. He doesn't need to go back to Izzie because they just had a physical relationship anyway. Izzie needs to get over Denny and not jump into anyone else right now.
Mark doesn't need to be with Dr. Hahn

I've been a true Grey's watcher since the first episode.
If I were one of the writers this is the direction I'd take the show:
We were left with Derek and Meredith ending their "go around" but getting "no place" relationship and Derek asking Rose to dinner. Derek thinks he knows what he wants but does he? One day he's kissing a scrub nurse the next day he's wanting to build a dream home for Meredith. He wants Meredith he always has. His knee jerk reactions to things are coming out of a place of frustation. I think this is what Meredith and Derek both need at the moment. They need to be apart and realize what's at stake. In order to be truly happy together, they need to bring about clarity into their lives.
Meredith begins serious therapy to overcome her issues and misses Derek terribly. She is longing for him and does her best to put on a brave face and numb her pain. They have awkward moments but
the feelings are still there.

Get rid of Rose, work things out with Derek and Meredith. If Derek was ready to move into a house and build a future with Meredith, how can he be ready to get into a relationship with someone else later that very day? stupid. he should have a lot of meredith-baggage or something and have rose dump him. whatever, just dont have rose and derek together. that is ridiculous.

I think the writers consistent storyline that makes Meredith a perpetual victim of "worst case scenarios" is going to eventually backfire and very quickly. Viewers are not only forgiving of characters that constantly screw up their lives with poor decisions or commit adultery, betray their friends and family, surrender their integrity for lust and greed and stabbing their friends in the back for their own personal gain, but they thrive on those storylines. Those are realistic and believable storylines for a primetime weekly drama.
What is not believable or even likeable is current direction the writers are taking with Meredith.
• Her father abandoned her after her parents divorced.
• Her mother was a self-centered bitch who not only felt but voiced to Meredith she was a burden to her and was the reason the love of her life wouldn't leave his wife to be with her.
• She has the classic commitment issues because her father abandoned her, i.e. the on vs. off cycle of Mer

Alright I want the Ladies of greys to have a girls night out road trip somehing after all the boys did it I want Christine to have a better story line and I want her to find love I want callie to find love again as well and kick Izzy's butt Mer/Der/Rose well I am tired of that relationship it is time that they all learn to be by themselves for a while I just hope that the next episodes are more fun you know

Okay Izzie needs closure after denny. She moved on to george a little too quickly. I don't think she really found any closure either. she just moved on. So what I WISH would happen is (and shonda if ur listening!) that Izzie would take a trip and spend some time with Denny's parents surrounding herself with that, and there and only there do I think she'll find true closure. :)

I would just like to say, I am a full on hardcore Grey's Anatomy Lover!And here's what I want to happen:
Meredith and Derek-Back together for at least most of a season. Full on together, Meredith gabs to Christina and Derek smiles constantly when she walks into the room. Christina needs a man. Izzie, get with Alex or someone completely new. I do remember mama O'mally yelling at the hardly divorced couple and insisting they fix things-could that work out? Lexie should get out of the picture a bit too. Or she could also use a man. I think this would be the ONLY way to get this season back to the beautiful season 1 we've ALL been missing.

I know that it's for sure not gonna happen in 5 episodes, but like most of you, I want Mer/Der together and Rose out. I think Derek needs to learn to stay single for a little while, but at the same time Meredith needs to learn some trust. I also really like Izzie and Alex together and want that back. I think George should have someone new, and Callie too. I definitely think Mark should be with Hahn. He's grown a lot character-wise, and I think it's great that he's falling for someone for a reason other than her looks.
