George and Izzie have amazing chemistry, both romantic and friendship-wise. They make the best couple on the show, and truthfully are the only reason I have been continuing watching. Since they broke up, the show has gotten boring for me, I want them back, they are so great.
As for MerDer, I know they love each other and are the main couple, but I do not see the chemistry or the big whoot about them, give me Gizzie over them any day.

I was also going to sound in on the MER bashing! I was watching the episode where DER notices Rose for the first time and what I found so irritating is that it was OBVIOUS that MER is starting to give DER more of what he was asking for. She was sharing with him and holding his hand. What is he doing?………Thinking about ROSE. Every time MER starts to grow (YES IT IS SLOW) DER leaves her or thinks about leaving her! HE refuses to give her TIME for them to grow as a couple! They have never been together happily for more than a month? Who has marriage worked for in MER'S life? YES MER is a little leery of marriage but can you blame her?
Now even Bailey's and the chief's marriage is falling apart. Her best friend is left at the alter!
I think he is the one with the problem. The reason we did not like the 2nd half of season 3 is because DER looks miserable most of the time when he is with MER. During season 2 he was always miserable with Addison and had chemistry with MER!!!

Are you kidding me? I think Mer is SO selfish that she deserves Der to leave her for someone else! I would LOVE to see him find someone who would appreciate him for a change! Mer is immature, self-absorbed, and unappreciative as far as I am concerned. She drives me nuts and is the one character I really don't like. I prefer Rose. And if Der doesn't get a backbone and stop getting all weepy every time he sees Mer, I think I will puke!

Well at least we did not have to watch Rose and DER together for a MONTH!
Do you think on the previously on Grey's, they will create some of the missing scenes that we never got to see in that passing month?
What the heck has MER been doing for this month? Hanging out with Christina drinking?
Are DER and her even speaking after she found out that he immediately went out with Rose after ending it with her?
Is MER going to have to almost die, get sick, or have a new man enter her life AGAIN for DER to leave Rose and want her? Christina already did the pregnant thing so I don't think they will do that again.
She could be thinking about leaving Grey's because she can't stand to WATCH DER AND ROSE TOGETHER!!!!!!! That might WAKE DER UP! Now it would serve DER if Rose would cheat on him or dump him! He could almost die or get sick. It is his turn!

i think you're all a lil too harsh on rose. she just wants to be happy and find love. it's not her fault mer can't make up her mind. derek waited long enough and kept trying to keep her as long as he could even when she said she didn't want to be with him. good for him for trying something new. and with such a beautiful and charming woman! i think they're cute together. and george and izzie are just better off as friends. i'm sorry but they might love each other but there is no chemistry!

i think that derek has go through enough with meredith. she is just not there for him the way he deserves someone to be and if rose makes him happy then he should go for it. if she truly loved him she wouldn't have all these crazy doubts and keep going back and forth like she always does.

I think Mer/Der will be reunited by the end of the season or close to it. I read where GA was pushing the storyline up 2 weeks from the last episode and it looks as if Der/Rose are still dating. I have read some spoilers from the ABC messge board and who knows if the spoilers are true or not, but it sounds promising for Mer/Der.

omg!!!!!!!!! mer and der have to get back together!!!! i mean seriously i cant believe it is going to be months later!!! they have been together that long!!! that doesnt sound like derek tho. i dont know. i really agree with ginny, somewhat. i think maybe rose and derek will have a mutual breakup because they realize it cant work when he is in love with someone else.

Well I like the idea of Rose breaking up with Derek cuz she feels he's still in love with Mer.
Dooon't always blame Derek. He waited for her, but Mer didn't know what she wanted, and now she'll realize what she has lost.
And hey, stay caaaalm with the whole Rose/Derek thing! Of course I want Merder to be together too, but it has to be realistic and a little exciting, you can't expect them to be together on the first epi again! We'll have to wait!

We all know Mer and Der belong together, they love each other,Mer is the love of his life, etc... So don't worry guys, they WILL get back together one day. So what I wanna see next ep is ... I don't know, something new, something shocking, something noone could ever think of happening !!! But image Der ans Rose having sex, eiwwww !! But there's a big chance they had sex, c'mon they've been together for over a month !! I'm a huge MerDer fan, but I don't want them back together yet in season 4... that would be too soon ! It has to be like season 2, you know a 'big reunion' at the end :P
Can't wait till April 24 !!!

I'm sticking with the Rose will break up w/Derek thing. Didn't she tell him when they first met that she was engaged and broke the engagement because they didn't want the same thing? She can say the same for Derek...........he doesn't want "it" with Rose, he wants "it" with Meredith!

Ginny- I would think that would be a sane possibility. All this "Die Rose Die" would be a little too OTT for a realistic storyline, and would do more harm to MerDer chances than letting that relationship just run its course. I do think it will come to the point where Derek will have to choose whether he is still "waiting for Meredith" or going to get on with his life, perhaps with Rose. Hopefully, for us Merder fans, he will choose the former. However, this is down to Shonda; and we already know where that can lead us, so we will have to wait and see.
Is it April yet?

I like Rose. I like her personality. I am glad she is in the picture. Mer needs to get it together. Der shouldn't have to keep waiting. He wants to make Mer his wife and she doesn't want it. So she needs this to know he isn't going to just sit around and wait for her. I do hope she gets it together and they get back together.

I fully agree, that the Rose story should end with a bang. But guys think about that: if she dies in Der's arms, then he will be so shocked and traumatised that he might have not a relationship with Mer at all in the nearest future. And don't we all want to have saucy scenes with both of them!?!?!?
How to be smart? Good question! Maybe, Rose and Mer can have a catfight or mud wrestling about Der and Rose will loose (uh, what a pity) and leave the battlefield with scratches..... or Rose falls in love with a woman, suddenly, and leave town for Gaytropolis or something....

SERIOUSLY Rose is so ugly, the first time i saw her was in the class, and i nearly vomited...my friends were all lookin at me going "wat he hell"?? Yeh anyway, my point is i hate Rose and Merder belongs together..But ppl i have a feeling that Mer will try to get over der and she'll met "someone", and then the "thing" (we all know wat thing) will go on and on until ONEDAY, probably like 6 seasons later, FINALLY Merder'll get together for REAL and then they'll get married and live happily ever after~~~ Yay~ but please not 6 seasons later...i want it now!! NOW Shonda, NOW!!!

I SEROUSLY hate Rose, and ppls a agree with whoever thinks that Rose should die.....maybe like a gunshot, or get hit by a car...anything involves dying would be great..(not tryna be mean or anything..but thats the reality). Or i hope that Rose turned out cheating on Derek with someone....and breaks Derek's heart and he'll realise what he's done, and Merder will get back together~~~YAY!!!
And the Gizzie, thingy..i want them to be friends, cuz they're cool when they're friends together~~
Anyway, Woot!!! MERDER 4EVA!! YAY, go Merder~
and Shonda, u better not mess up season4, I mean SERIOUSLY!!
