That sucks for the MerDer fans. I am not a big fan but I know what it is to be betrayed by Shonda. I am a huge Gizzie fan and she betrayed us good, so I sympathize.

I agree with Linda. I love every bit of the show, but only if it leads to MerDer being together. The chemistry they have is fantastic - its what made the show. I don't think I could keep watching it if they end up like a 'Romeo and Juilet'. There is enough sad stuff already in the world.

okay i hope saying this doesnt jinx anything but i doubt der and rose will have sex. we never had to witness mer and finn have sex so why should we see them? that would be tragic and awful and i might just laugh at the fact. especially after der breaks up with the love of his life supposedly, and then a month later is already having sex with a nurse he hadnt noticed in his OR for tons of surgeries!

i think meredith and derek belong together i can't see them with any one else but each other i have been watching the show a long time if they don;t stay together i will stop watching the show because meredith &derek are meant to be together

i totally agree with jessie and ashley and anyone else that said that derek and rose having sex would just be DREADFUL. ICKICKICK. i ick. i just cant picture it and i dont want to picture it and ick. god. maybe they will brake up in this date? hm. i just want it to be april 24!!!

Ausiello said that Mer/Der won't be back together in the first episode, which makes sense. I'm guessing a couple more epis of them apart, and then hopefully Addi shows up and makes Derek realize what he's doing. And about the whole sex thing---I don't think Derek could stand having sex with anyone other than Meredith. I mean, when him and Addison were together, the sex was definitely not good.

I agree with Sam123--Rose needs to die. Maybe they should make it Derek's fault (but not intentionally). She makes the show worse and takes away from the great MerDer chemistry that has always been there.

I AM SOOOOOO MAD!! SHONDA, if you read this, listen to your fans, WE WANT MER/DER BACK! When Addison came on the show I was mad that she broke up mer and der, but I still thought she had a good personality and grew to like her as the show continued. I don't like Rose at all, or her personality.

I want Mer/Der to be together as much as the next totally addicted Grey's fan, but they're getting boring with Rose in the picture. What I really want is for Shonda to find a traumatic way for Rose to die, (maybe drowning or bombs) and for Mer/Der to be like they were in season 2.
As far as Gizzie goes, I liked them more as friends.

Well I think it's a good thing that there are a couple of months between epi 11 & 12. If not, it would be silly if MerDer would be immediately back together, no? Now they can (hopefully) show how much Mer & Der are missing each other & stuff...

Gah! Derek and Rose on a date. I might just puke. Seriously. And if Der/Rose has sex...OH MY GOSH, I might just vomit even more. I mean, I thought that Der/Rose was only for a month. MORE than a month? Ewww. This better be over pretty soon is all I am going to say.
In other words, that contest to be the best doc sounds fun. Can't wait to see this new episode.

George and Izzie are why I watch and they seem to be relegated to the backburner lately. Call me when Gizzie is on the front again, the show is boring without them

evisarens; From how I read it, I would say that there will be several months between the time of episode 11 and 12.
Due to the compressed length of season four, as a result of the strike, it was said that they were going to have cram in the rest of the season into the remaining five episodes. This would explain them wanting to move things along quicker.

Seriously, MerDer is ok, but all I care about is Gizzie getting back together, they are why I watch.
