Susan Lucci to Host Bideawee Ball

Bideawee - one of the oldest animal rights organizations in the country- is holding its largest fundraiser of the year, the Bideawee Ball: For the Love of Pets.

This event will be held on May 6 at Espace in the Atelier Building in Manhattan. One of the hosts for the evening will be Susan Lucci (Erica, All My Children). She'll be joined by CBS weatherman and feature reporter Dave Price.

The BideaweeThe Ball is meant to raise funds to benefit Bideawee and its mission to promote healthy, loving, long-term relationships between people and pets.

Honorees will include:

• Dr. Lewis Berman, Veterinarian and founder of Park East Animal Hospital and one of the country's best known and respected animal practitioners.
• Kathy Freston, animal lover, bestselling author, personal growth and spiritual counselor.

Other celebrities attending will include:

• Robin Strasser (Dorian, One Life to Live)
• Eileen Fulton (Lisa, As the World Turns)
