first off,let me just begin by saying that josh shwartz is a freakin god! between gossip girl and The O.C. (which was the best show on television) he can do no wrong. anyways for some reason i couldnt get to the alternate ending but whatever. i think we all no that the GG finale was a little weaker then expected. there was really no need for the serena/dan breakup. and i agree with whoever said that bart shouldnt die because, yes that would be waaay to much like O.C. but lets face it, this is second season which means that dan and serena are going to be on again off again, find new romances, but hopefully be together by the last few episodes...just like the OC. oh well, its a great show and i hope that it doesnt start to suck after second season like the OC (but first season was absolutely fantastic!)

chuck will end up with blair (well i hope)
serena will end up with dan (cuz without her he really has no story line)
nate will end up with someone new maybe (but not before a little s and n scandle)
i really dont think there gonna keep going on about the whole blair and nate thing its getting really not interesting and the writers hopefully know that.

I think it would have been too similere to The O.C if they had gone with the original. Bart Bass is the Caleb Nichol of New York and it would have been lame if 'Caleb died twice' if you can see my point.
Also the whole wedding thing might get people to think of Julie and Caleb's wedding in The O.C and the whole 'escape from Chuck' thing is also similere to all the escapes in the O.C so maybe they tried to go somewhere different because this show shouldn't get compared to The O.C or any other show for that matter because it's so original, but a lot of people and critics have including myself. I will always love The O.C but Gossip Girl is somehow better.
Anyway, I was pretty pleased with the season finale :)

there wasn't much drama in the season finale... even though it was still good.. now that i know the original ending.. i am sooooo disappointed.. its not like bart bass was that important anyways... they should have killed him off... sooo much more drama... :(

OK heres what i think should have happened in the last episode:
it picks up exactly where it left off: D and G walking hand in hand :( down the street
S jumps out from behind a shop or bush or something (i dunno!) and bitch-slapped (or punched!) G in the face
S grabs D and tells him everything, and then they sort of (not really, temporarily) get back together, but not the way they were before
C fake hooks-up with G, then B and N and D and S all confront her about everything
S and D have a minor fight at the wedding, but then they realise how much they love each other and everything is happy and N gets together with J, B and C go away to tuscany or wherever they were going, but C hooks up with a flight attendent (female, of course) and B catches them and then she and C have another of their wonderful love-hate fights but then C charms her again and thats it! i love a happy ending! but there should be a cliffhanger still, something with rufus and lily perhaps?

Okay, I really, really, really don't want to make this sound mean, but I think Aubrey's making this up. I mean, Blair and Dan? I've heard from several places, and the common theme is that Blair and Chuck will be the center of season 2. They aren't going to end that fast. These spoilers are way too detailed to be real, no matter how good of a friend your mom is with Josh Schwartz. I think he's a little smarter than to give away pretty much the whole season in one sitting. I'm just saying...
And while I really hated the ending they chose (I think they should have just left it at the end of the wedding or something, it was like they were just creating random cliffhangers), I don't like the alternate at all. I mean, as much as I dislike Bart Bass, I don't want him to die! I mean, poor Chuck! And Carter Baizen sucks. No one wants him around. But...the good thing about this was it would be more easily explained to Blair and more forgiveable than Chuck and Amelia...doing whatever they end up

you will find out during the season premiere anyways so why would she bother making it up. you're going to feel like an idiot when you realize you just verbally attacked a girl for no reason

To begin, I really love Chuck and Blair together, but Serena and Dan were just kind of expected, everything about them. I must say that I loved The O.C., and to me, Josh Schartz can do no wrong. I love the whole upper east side thing. Its classic, and very entertaining.

i liked the change with serena, georgina and dan because it gave serena a reason to tell dan about georgina. I didn't like the switch with chuck and blair because it would have started the season with blair realizing her mistake and chuck being angry at what she did

And the whole designer thing with chuck what a load of crap!!! Chuck is a dog but he wouldn't scrape the bottom of the barrel for that girl, he has better taste then that. What's going to happen to jenny, will they incorperate the It girl series?

SOOOOO this show better run more than 2 seasons first off. Second, Dan and Serena shouldn't have broken up, what for ratings? They better be back together after season 2. I really don't care if B and C get back together or N and B. I do care if G is back, cause that chick is a bad actress and I really think her character is ridiculous. Bart should die, but not now. Then Lily and Rufus can be together. Lil' J will probably just surpass B in being some big awesome designer and be buddy buddy all the way to the bank with B's mom. I really just can't wait till the show is back on and we can see what happens next!

Hey so here is the story on what i think should have could have but didnt happen...
Okay for on the wole accident no... I agree that would have been a bit dramatic but, if something like that did happen it should have happened without chuck bass in the scene. think about it. If the designer came into play and they left the designer to her homework at the bass home WITH CHUCK plus a POSSIBLE death piece then that would mean season 2 would have chuck and blair arguing over why he didnt come which they could have had him lie about being around his dad on the way to the airport which would have been a lie which would have been MORE DRAMA if caught with the designer ;-)
Ruffus would then try to council lily over the phone durring his tour which would have made him produce better music which then he could have dramaticlly put it on puse to help the love of his life her negleting him because she doesnt want to disrespect her injuerd husband yes having all these mixed emotions... would h

ohkay, im kinda glad they changed certain things about the ending but lily prob. wouldnt have cried if bart died. anyway chuck doesnt seem the one to stay with blair so the new girl habits and new character works. and that guy who cheated nate, he was kinda forgotten so im glad they took him out. and we need the lily, bart, rufus drama.
also what aubrey or whoever said, i really dont think serenas going to go hook up with nate thats just not possible with what happened. blair and dan might have something, but really serena and nate cant hook up. it just ruins the show.
