I don't know why everyone hates Rose so much...........she didn't pursue Derek, he went after her!! Who wouldn't say yes if Derek asked her out???? I admit that I certainly didn't like the IDEA of her, but, truthfully, what did she ever do or say that was mean or hurtful? I think she was a nice person who just had the right guy at the wrong time.

they are not killing derek off the show. go to ABC.com and listen to shonda's podcast. she clearly stated that derek will NOT die or get hit by a bus and forget that entire thing and there will be NO rose pregnancy...i do hope however that they show the breakup between rose and derek because i wanna see him kick her to the curb!
i do hope that there will be spoilers posted throughout the summer. i was a little weary about waiting till sept for season 5 to start but now that derek and meredith are together i can breath a little easier. EP&PD are just amazing actors and they play out their characters very well. this scene is just beautiful. it took mer a ton of courage to do that.

I would love to see an interview of Patrick or Ellen about the last scene of the finale. Love to hear what they would say about it now that it has aired. I do know Patrick said when he read the last scene of the script, he thought it was beautiful. It reminded him of why Grey's was such a great show. (something like that). Sounds like our McDreamy is such a romantic! I just love him!
Since the cast goes back to work early (middle of June) to start filming season 5, maybe it won't be too long before we start getting some spoilers about upcoming episodes. At least thats another good thing to look forward to thru the summer months. And, yes, that would be great if the show started back in July, but it seems it will be in Sept.

Okay.... that was amazingly GREAT!! I have that episode on my ipod and I watch it 3 times every morning and night! I LOVE THEM TOGETHER!! Yeah September 25th is a little long.... why don't they just start again at the beginning of July!?!

I loved the season fanle but what happens with Grey and McDreamy now? is he comming back! or are they killing him off. the ending sort of freaked me out the whole episode was too good to be true isnt it?

I seem to cry at all the season finale's they've had but this one was so romantic and just amazing. I sat and cried like a baby. It was amazing, thats all I can really say.

This scene has to be the second best Grey's scene in the history of Grey's (only behind prom sex). I've watched it at least 200 times now and I cry and like aww each time. Cant wait til september!

i thought i was the only one messed up about this scene. i watch it over and over and over again. and probably cry more each time i watch it. where did shonda say there wouldnt be an accident or a rose pregnancy? but thank god for that. this is deff the moment we all as MERDER fans have been waiting for. and i love how he just walks up to her while shes still talking and just kisses her. and how the music gets faster as he gets closer to her. its simply breathtaking. it literaly took my break away.
i cant wait till next season!

Aww... for me was the best scene of all the season and one of the best of the serie... I could't stop crying and crying. This show is turning better every day, I want to see more now! lol.. but I think I should wait a little..

My husband swears up and down if I watch this scene one more time he's sending me to the physc ward. It's a moment that every true MerDer fan has been waiting for and you can't help but watch over and over again. Now all I can say is bring on season 5.

This scene is one of the Best romantic scenes ever it's is not lame at all and to tell you the truth it was unexpected i mean who would've thought of this way to fix things between MerDer and to let Mer confess her weaknesses and the Love she have for Der this way.....I think Paddy&Ellen are both Great actors and they should be recognised they really deserve an emmy i think the ranting at the beginning of the scene was just adorable how Der was smiling when he saw Mer ranting it just melt my heart how Mer screamed at him that he's late the way she says it gives the impression that they're married how there is a mixture of Shock,Fear&Love in her eyes and how Der's eyes are full of love and disbeleif at what he's hearing and then the Determination in his eyes and walk when he was going towards Mer then the Kiss ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what can i say more Superb,Grand,Magical and then the Realisation that he has to end this farce with R*** i can't even write her name i w

I'm totally in love with this scene!!!! I mean, we all Merder fans have been waiting for sooooooo long for them to be together... and for me this moment is ABSOLUTELY worth the wait... I'm very glad to hear from SHonda that there's going to be no accidents or rose pregnancy... The pregnancy thing was kind of weird, since I've read somewhere that Rose is out of the picture (thank GOd!!!!!)...

I am not a romantic person, I don't believe in fairytales and all the classic romantic stuff, but this!!
I absolutely love Ellen!!! She had been capable of represent what romance is for Meredith without seeming out of character (and Meredith isn't romantic at all, so it was a big risk) All the ranting was just perfect!! Give her an award!!! I've seen that almost 20 times, I'm not normal...
