Move over, Matthew McConaughy. Your brother is ready for his reality TV close-up.

Indeed, Rooster McConaughey - whose real name is Michael Patrick - is as a pipe supplier who will starring in a new reality show from the producers of Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers. The new show, Black Gold, will offer a glimpse into the lives of men with some of the most dangerous jobs in the world.

It premieres June 18 on some network called truTV and takes viewers inside the race to find oil in Texas. While Rooster doesn't work on an oil rig, he supplies the pipes for the drills, which typically go down 10,000 feet below the earth's surface.

We assume this is more exciting to watch than it is to write about.
