The Upper East Side is about to get even hotter. Cougar style. On Season 2 of Gossip Girl, an older woman named Catherine Mason will tempt Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) with some hot, May-December romance!

Catherine Mason will be played by Madchen Amick, last seen in CBS' Viva Laughlin as the wife of a small-time casino owner. Amick will join the cast when Gossip Girl returns with new episodes September 1.

    Stacey's right.. she was also in a short-lived series Central Park West..
    which reminds me a lot about Gossip Girl....featuring Manhattan's elite. She reminds me a lot about Blair...in fact, like Leighton, she's a natural blonde but in the series, she dyes her hair black.
