Katherine Heigl Not Leaving Grey's Anatomy (Yet)
Katherine Heigl came under fire after saying she pulled out of Emmy Awards consideration because Grey's Anatomy didn't give her enough material.
But a new report from Life & Style claims that the popular and outspoken TV and film actress seemed unfazed by all the recent hoopla.
As she watched her husband, singer Josh Kelley, perform at Los Angeles' Hotel Cafe on June 20, Heigl had nothing but good things to say.
Asked if she's returning to the show next season, Katherine told Life & Style, "Of course, absolutely. Those people are like my family."
Heigl isn't waving goodbye to Grey's Anatomy just yet.
The report notes that while Katherine Heigl didn't specifically address the controversy over her remarks, she was positive about the show's writers.
She also had praise for her work environment and castmates, telling the entertainment magazine that "It's so funny because we have such serious material to perform, and then we spend the whole day joking around."
It'll be no laughing matter, though, if Heigl eventually does exit the show. But the Grey's Anatomy producers are prepared in the event she does.

if she left i will hate everyone in the serise and i will
watch it again
and by the way her storyline in the fourth season isnot good
as the third and fifth
katherine is an amazing actor

FYI -the actual comment she made was that while she didn't feel she was given good material, she didn't fault the writers because it's the producers that drive the overall story line. More actors and actresses should have the courage to stand up to producers who ruin shows in their attempt to keep up the hype. Can anyone say "ER"?

Izzie character should remain in season 5 and will return again in season 6 because she is my favorite character in grey's anatomy.

Well, I have to say that I do agree with Katherine about her storyline last season. Her character had no focus this past year, and the writing was substandard. Sorry, as much as I love GA, the writing can be terribly uneven sometimes. The writers made some dreadful mistakes this season (hello, George and Izzy as a couple?), and she should not be forced off the show for her comments. She should learn some tact perhaps, learn the art of the comment that says nothing, but she should be fired for her comment.

I like Izzie but I'm sick of Katherine and her I am wonderful attitude. She needs to learn some respect for the show and the people involved in it!
