Is there a reason Denny is back in the program? We all know this is someting that wouldn't happen. Him coming back to life. It makes Izzy look crazy. This is not a realistic story
line. Please think this through and take him off and let Izzy
get back to a normal doctors life. DENNY HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

Izzie should definetely not leave. She has her own important role in this whole series, and pretty much levels out the rest of the group. Meredith is the "Pity me and my life while I try to fix it" kind of character, while Christina is the "I take out my anger and sadness in a sassy manner", etc. Izzie is the "I'm a kind, compassionate person who levels out my friends' intense feelings."
I honestly think the show would be extremely lacking without her.
But if she really is going to leave, I think it should be in a manner in which she's able to return if she wants to.
Killing her would be...well, an overkill. I for one, would be reluctant to watch the show from then on.

I watch Grey's because it has hot people in it and Heigl? Hard to get hotter than that, people!
Besides, I think her kamikaze "I say whatever the hell pops up in my mind"-strategy is very entertaining! You go Kaherine, at least you're honest about being self-obsessed, good for you!
I need my Heigl-fix and I'm not really into lame rom-coms, so I'll be really sad to see her go.
If she does, it should be something really spectacular and tear soaked in true Grey's Fashion. I just luurve those disaster episodes!

Izzy should stay. She's an original and we shouldnt get rid of any of them. As far as Meridith, things better get better b.c i'm getting tired of the on again off again relationship. And we could still have Greys Anatomy b.c there's Lexi (whom i think is totally annoying)

I agree, too bad the title using the Grey name. Her character is annoying!! She is selfish little bitch and I had disliked her since season 2 when she says all that crap against Addison. How come the central character like Mer is not sympathetic at all? Who wanna spend time watching a character they don't like? Meredith is bitchy whore and she should have die! Agree with u whoever u are.

PLEASE!! PLEASE!! Don't get rid of Katherine Heigl, so she took herself out of the Emmy's, who cares! She did what she felt is right. Its a free country, people believe and CAN believe in what they want. Just because she did that doesn't mean you should kill her off the show!! Please DON'T!!! She is a very good actress and should be given a chance to prove herself. If you had a job and said something that you felt was right but your boss disagreed and fired you for it. Thats not right!!

Though I think Izzy is a great charactor,I much rathered Burke& now he's gone,I read other peoples comments& no one gave a suggestion,But I think a good way to kill her off would be maybe If for some reason someone holded the hospital hostage& she was shot in the cross fire,I dont know?:)

I'm not sure I would watch the show anymore if Izzie left. She's awesome- Katie just FINALLY needs a good storyline again! As needs the whole show... Isn't there anything else except for relationship stuff, who's sleeping with whom, betrayal, break-ups, etc? Please, give someone a real problem, like alcohol, pills, or... I don't know, a daughter with a serious illness?!

Izzie should get pregnant as a result of her night with Alex. She cant tell him because he is dating someone and getting really serious with her (not a doctor or patient, someone else, dont know who), and she doesnt want to ruin it for them, so before she starts showing, she leaves for one year, telling friends she is going on a holiday, and adopts the baby out while she is overseas. On her flight home, her plane crashes and the seattle grace staff rush to the disaster area (like the ferry crash), but their beloved friend izzie doesnt survive and everyone is devastated. Alex's new girl gets pregnant and gives birth to a daugther - Isobel

Well, if we were lucky enough to actually have Izzie killed off the show, then I wish it would have happened a long time ago... like in the beginning of Season 3... her character has been pretty awful ever since the end of Season 2. It would have to be something major and tragic... an event on the same scale as the ferry boat accident. She can die trying to save people that are trapped somewhere, which would be fitting because Izzie used to be so giving and selfless, and then we can forget that she has been nothing but self-centered and obnoxious lately. And then everyone can cry and mope (except for Callie, who will do a happy dance and sing “Ding dong the bitch is dead!”) and then they’ll move on with their lives. And Denny can welcome her to the afterlife or something.

I've been loving Iz since the first episod. But, this never ending debate about Heigl leaving or not is so boooring and takes the edge of a really really great show.
So here's what I suggest: Send Izzie to Darfur to work with the "Medecins sans frontieres" I'd think it's "Doctors without borders" in US. There she will discover there's no "hot" cases, just saving lifes. Let her stay there in 1 or 2 seasons until she's really longing for Grey's... and
meanwhile, bring Burke back... or Addison... cause I'm really longing for them...

What would be a interesting way for Izzie to bite the bullet hum...................lets think.............ok, well just of the top of my head. She is under too much stress at the hospital that she dicides to take a camping trip with George to calm down and reconnect with him. During the trip a series of events occure that leaves her dehydrated and very ill. Gerorge does everything he can to help her while he calls for a helicopter, with no room for George in the helicopter he is forced to drive to the hospital. Confedent that Izzie is in good hands George is now LESS worried. As the show progresses and they show what is happining as the rest of the gang learns of Izzie's condition the helicopter engine starts to fail. Just as you begain to worry they announce they will need to make an emergency landing. Next thing you hear is calm selection of music, to be picked at a later time, all the while you see a pan of all the people's face on bord the helicopter, then flash to George driving,

All right, of course I think Izzie should stay. But let's just say we don't have a choice here, I would like to see a classic tragic death scene. Like Nora Huntington's death on Desperate Housewives (Episode "Bang"). Something unexpected.
