Shonda Rhimes Campaigns For Change

In her own way, each and every day.

According to one site's list of 20 Celebrities Who Are Serious About Changing the World, the Grey’s Anatomy creator and executive producer came in at #4.

While many celebs are more talk than action, Shonda Rhimes' work remains both influential and committed to a better world. The write-up says:

"While many high-profile celebrities advocate for causes abroad, Shonda Rhimes has been steadily working here in the US. Rhimes, the creator, producer and writer for the hit TV series Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, has racked up a shelf-load of GLAAD Media Awards and NAACP Image Awards (not to mention Emmys and Golden Globes) for her progressive portrayals of race and sexuality in the fictional Seattle Grace hospital."

Shonda Rhimes was bested only by U2 singer Bono, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Brangelina (apparently that's one person, not two).
