"Dream a Little Dream of Me" Sneak Preview
Wow. Either Shonda Rhimes is ready to do the unthinkable or she really, really enjoys messing with Grey's Anatomy fans. Perhaps both?
Either way, a shocking sneak preview from the Season Five premiere of Grey's Anatomy, "Dream a Little Dream of Me," has surfaced.
Many of our readers have been expressed the opinion - in response to this week's thought-provoking Grey's Anatomy spoilers - that the scene first hinted at in the now-infamous promo takes place in a dream, or in Meredith's imagination.
But this eliminates any doubt that it does in fact take place. And it's not pleasant.

Going to say it's not a dream.
Going to say that they do something frakking crazy and obscure to bring him back to life. Has anyone forgotten that Meredith was dead for... like... a long time?
It happened. But it's okay. And yeah. Ellen brought me to tears, that's an amazing performance.

i think its a dream too but even if it isnt would it be the weirdest thing thats happened on the show if he survived after that. it would be overwhelmingly stupid if they took out derek's chaacter. there are way too manyh mcdreamy fans out there to do that. they would potentially loose a good bit of fans because i no that if he wasnt in it it would not be the same show that we have come to know and love. m ost likely its just one of merideth's paranoiaish dreams she has had them before and this would not be that much different. i dont think that there is any thing to worry about and i dont think that derek is going to go anywhere.

Dream. At the end it starts to break to light, and that's always part of dreams or similar.

i don't know if it's a dream but a least dereck will not be dead.If you watch the others promos you can see that him and meredith are talking about mariage.so he can't die!!!sorry for my english,i'm from québec.!!!i can't just wait to see grey's return

do you really think it's going to be meredith and derek till the very end??? i really really hope that they will be happy ever after! i mean, how would you feel if they don't end up together... betrayed??? deceived??? for all these years of yearning for them to be together, (i don't care no matter what and how they will go through things - in season 5 and seasons to come... ) we deserve to see them together in the end, right? They should be the ultimate picture of true love in the show!

Yes, we all know it's a dream! BUT, part of the reason I love Greys and I'm sure that others love Greys as well is the cascade of emotions it releases. That is a sign of great acting. I think that we should get over the fact that it is a dream and take it for what it is. GREAT ACTING!! Appreciate that Ellen Pompeo's scream is so heartbreaking that you can imagine her hand being your hand hitting the glass as you watch the person you love most end their time on this earth. Don't just pass it off as a dream and therefore being unreal and worthless. Use it as a moment to be grateful for all the blessings we have in our REAL lives. That's what makes this show great; we can use its fictional storylines to find beautiful moments in our lives and to open our eyes to all facets of life.

Guys -- did anyone else notice that in this preview.. Merideth is wearing the same clothes she had on the last scene (TOW candle house)??!!
