Leighton Meester Sings!
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, who is working on a music album, does a cool cover of "Bette Davis Eyes," a #1 hit in 1981 (!) for Kim Carnes.
For those unaware, Bette Davis (1908-1989) was a popular American actress of her time, starring in many film, TV and Broadway productions.
Here's Leighton Meester singing. This isn't a music video, just her song with a slideshow of (really nice) pictures as the background.

She deserves all the great compliments about her singing. Once again I'm stunned and awed or maybe its shocked and awed at how unbelievably good she is.

YEAH!! on all the tv shows i watch i tend to just... idk lean towar the brunettes (and i dont even think its because i am one...down three inches from 14 =[[[) but i love leighton more than blake(whom i still love) rachel Bilson more than mischa Barton america ferrera alexis bledel and kristen stewart are my other favs!
i think julia stiles is my one exception

i already have it in my player. i so love leighton. she can act and sing, now that's talented!
(i don't know why but i seem to like the brunettes in the TV shows instead of the blondes. in OC, i prefer rachel bilson, in OTH, i love sophia bush.)
