I dont know. I think george and izzie need more friend time, i dont hate AI, but I'll have to see how it plays out. As for george and izzie, i liked them, but i figgured they wouldnt work out. They have the whole callie thing in the back of their minds. that might make it hard. but, what do i know right?

I miss my beloved MerDer for this episode. There wasn't enough screen time. Last week there were bits at the start 2 bits in the middle then an end bit. I liked that. Spreading it out makes us MerDer fan's happy. But ah well. Mer had big screen time this eppy. That was great. She was so frickin adorable! I'm loving her calling everyone on their crap and not taking anything at the moment. That's the Mer from season 1. I'm glad she's getting all whole and healed. The MerDer moments we did see where they were essentially domesticating together... were great! But, I'm still waiting for an actual sex scene! We haven't had one since the first half of season 4. Derek is a dirty man, and loves the sex. Why don't we get and MerDer action? Hmmm? Ah well, i guess the 'baby steps' thing applies to how Shonda is choosing to show MerDer this season as well... little by little we get more and more. Totally agree, we need more Izzie and George friendship moments! I love George? Where is he, writers, please give him back to us!!
Even though I'm AI, I hope Izzie is not so preoccupied with Alex that she forgets about George and everything, but who would know since George and Izzie are NEVER TOGETHER ANYMORE. Grrr.
I liked this scene though. I want Alex to try harder, but this was a pretty solid start. And I have a question for any Gizzie fan out there who is willing to answer me: If Alex changed and earned Izzie's trust back, and if he really proved that he was respectable and that he deserved her, would you give them a chance? I won't be angry if the answer is no, I just want to see you poinion on that, for a different perspective!

Well that is one thing I think both AI and GI fans can agree on, we love the Gizzie friendship.
I hope if there is a poll on this, people vote for the friendship to be fixed.

But I do want George and Izzie's friendship to get some freaking screentime... seriously, Shonda. :\

I know. Where is george? Not only do I lsoe my favorite couple and friendship in Gizize and have to endure Alex and Izzie, which I hate more than anything, my favorite character, George, has two secodns of airtime.
TR deserves better.
And really all the anti-romantic Gizzie fans who miss their friendship should write to Shonda and ask her to please fix that friendship.

I'm trying to figure out why everyone is suddenly in love with George and not all "omigaww, McDreamy!!!!!11"
But yeah, was George even in the episode at all? I saw him a couple of times when I'd quickly glance at the screen (I taped it and still had it on so I could watch it with full attention today) and I only heard him talk twice, and it was very brief.
I demand more scenes with George and having him say something more than "This is better than the frozen kind" or something. Less Alex and Izzie.

i love the alex-izzie relationship! The Gizzie one was horrible, although i do miss them being friends. just friends though.
i'd really like to see mark in a real relationship... not with torres, she irritates the crap out of me.

What a brilliant episode! There's already a lot of interest in anatomy jane dolls on the internet, my daughter is at university studying to be a paramedic and I would love to give her one of them but they don't exist (yet)! Here's hoping someone will market them soon.
I love the way the new attending is shown as an arrogant man at first but later you get to know him better. I'm glad Izzy and Alex are together. Not sure about Torres and Erica but it's very well done.
Very clever the way the major operation and the pigs were interlinked. Not sure about the major operation which seemed to be a bit "oh good she's all better now" rather than "we'll have to see how she gets on in ITU" but that's drama and besides I'm influenced by being a retired nurse.
The pros and cons of medical research on animals was well presented and a serious subject.
All told- I loved it!

Yes please please please anyone who misses the Gizzie friendship should write. The critics bashed the Gizzie romance so bad, even though they have a huge fanbase, that now Shonda has destroyed their friendship to boot.
Shonda listens to critics, that is why she dumped our couple. The critics at elast owe us to fight for their friendship.

I don't like Mark and Lexie. i want george and Lexie. George and Lexie have a pretty big fanbase too. On Fanpop, 76% of people want Lexie with george and only 24% with mark.
Of course I'd still rather have Gizzie, but hey Shonda is not even brave enough to give us one scene.
Can I ask the mods of this site to do one thing? I know you are not a Gizzie romantic fan limke me and many other people are, but if you ever loved the Gizzie friendship could you write an article about it?
Maybe saying you miss the friendship or something. This Gizzie fan could learn to live with them just being best friends again but this complete lack of any scene or friendship with them is killing me.
Could you maybe devote a tenth of the attention to the Gizzie friendship that you give to the Alex and Izzie couple a lot of us here hate?

I can see where people would be upset with all of the postings, polls and screen time that this couple receives. I for one would like to see some more MerDer the way it used to be, the elevator scenes etc, I think now that Meredith has gotten all whole and healed that there would at least be some scenes of the happy couple or displays of affection or at least PD in a towel. :)
I would also like to see Shonda put some more focus on Mark. He's such a great charactor with some great possiblities I'd like to see her put them to use. Also why isn't she captilizing on the Mark and Lexie chemistry that most of us, including this site picked up on?

I still hate those two. They are disgusting although Shonda seems to think they are greater than MerDer probably because she believes all the spammed polls about their great popularity. Funny because everyone I know offline hates the crappy couple and many have stopped watching the show. Of course they don't post on the Internet or the official site so of course they don't matter at all.
