Dexter: Extended for Two Seasons

Exciting news for Dexter fans:

Showtime has picked up the show for two more seasons.

The series has earned a fourth and fifth season of, each set for 12 episodes, announced Showtime President Bob Greenblatt. He said of the decision:

"I thought at best we could attract a devoted cult audience, but soon realized that, ironically, this show is so thematically rich and layered with humanity that audiences of all kinds have flocked to it."

Dexter is the network's highest-rated drama. It attracts over three million viewers per week.
