Izzie: George passed his exam. (Alex ignores her) Tool.
Derek comes in and buys them a drink.

OK, so I thought the epi was a little boring. And whatever happended to MerDer's clinical trial with the tumor patients. They were making medical history - the things of legends and now we've never heard of it again. Come on Shonda - we're smarter than this, the trial wouldn't have just ended after they had a great success.
Glad George passed the test. Alex is a jerk but at least he was honest with Izzy. And good for Der to tell the two of them off for messing around with the surgery - grow up!

One of my favorite moments in this ep was when George found out he passed the exam and he said he has to go tell Izzie and Meredith. :) Izzie his best friend, to which unfortunatly he didn't talk to much lately:(. I'm not so much for the love relationship between them (although i have to admit i like them as couple), but i'm totaly for the 'best friend' relation (it is great and i hope they will not give it up).
As for Lexie, it was a little sad that she was kind of left out, but what can she expect, i mean they know each other for so less time and he cannot leave his true old frinds out of this imp moment. she is just in love with georrge, that's why all the interest, otherwise she wouldn't do all these things for him. i don't like her character, yet:) she didn't convince me at all and honestly i cannot find her a place inside the team.
About Izzie, i personaly like her very much and i want to see her grow, she became more confident in herself, but not enough. I like her sensitivity

That Duncan kid was too cute. I loved how he wanted to watch the surgery with the man who had his face pulled down. I loved the Callica in this episode. Callie was hilarious during the entire thing. Bailey was great. I laughed so hard during the scenes she had with either part of Callica. I really liked the part where Erica is watching Callie get on the elevator. I'm glad George passed his exam. The part where Izzie threw that thing at Alex and the nurse kind of stares her down until she picks it up was funny too.

seriouslyobssesed, I totally agree with you! Bailey totally made this episode for me. She was awesome. I love that the Callica storyline is progressing, I just think that Bailey's involvement made it that much more awesome to watch. As Callie and Erica get more time on the screen, their relationship becomes more real. There is some great writing and acting going on there.

You still have a lot to learn... It's good he's acting like her boss. Keep her in line... and read up on surgeries that she doesn't know about instead of Cristina teaching her them... She has to be more pro active with things like that. But, i think Mer might get cranky at it... but not for long. I can't wait for next week! So excited.

I thought tonight's episode was great. Glad George passed his exam. Mark is so funny to me. I really think he and Lexie will hook up later in the season. I'm glad Alex told Izzie what was going on with him and glad she stood up to him. I naturally loved the ending with Mer/Der. Finally, a kiss between these two. I know Shonda said even though they were together didn't mean happily ever after, but come on....let Meredith act happy that Derek has moved in and not get so upset with things he is doing at the house. I just don't get why Shonda really want let them act really happy. Sure they will have their ups and downs and fights but just let them be happy while they are moving forward with their relationship. I loved the kiss scene at the end, thats the Mer/Der we all remember and love. They acted so happy with each other. And I thought the trailer was a perfect place for Mer's get away.
