About Hunt...not sure. I mean, I wanted to like him but after the episode...I don't know. I liked that he was willing to learn and everything but there's a limit. I get he just came back from Iraq but something's off. Maybe in the future I'll like him better. But pigs? Seriously?
Way too little scenes with Mer/Der, although I loved the beginning and ending. They seemed happy, Meredith seemed so happy, it was refreshing to see that. They are at ease with each other. Ugh, we need to see more of that! A lot more!
Adored Alex. Too cute. He and Izzie are going to make it.
Bailey rocks, Erica sucks, Callie eh, LOVE MARK!!! As for the Chief...WTF? It's like he's looking for every possible excuse to have Meredith hate him. Instead of that, he should try to watch her over, like Ellis asked him to. He really is the only father figure that she has.
I would like to see what those diaries say. I just hope Meredith turns to Derek, and not Cristina, this time.

I liked this epsode!
Good that Callie worked her things out... I was devasted after Erica got emotional and Callie reacted that way! I was feeling that they were trying to hard to make them as a couple. (I know... they make this storyline... anyway, I wasn't buying this whole lesbian thing anymore.)
I have to say I'm not a big fan of MerDer, but I missed their scenes! And loved the way they were together at the end of this eppy! (And yes, more drama is about to come!)
I have to agree with ana! It would be an interesting couple! But we all know it's Cristina's time! She really needs a "real man"! BTW, I heard some rumours about Burke coming back (probably just for an episode, but I'm not sure... anyone can enlighten...?)
An where was O'Malley? Just missed him! I think he had about 1 minute on air! (maybe a little more)
Loved the scene between Alex and Izzie! And loved McBadass, even if he was so cruel with those pigs!

Not enough Mer Der last night. I liked Alex and Iz. I liked when Cal asked Mark for a drink- his expression when she said he is good for more than sex. McSteamy needs a steady! I missed a preview--can someone post what next week is about, please?

This ep was very nice.:) I'm officially fan of Izzie:), she was great, this woman really knows to stand up for what she belives in and this is somthing great.
I somehow, in a hidden place of my heart:P, whished that Hunt will be with Izzie. I know his Cristina's and she deserve a guy:) but still... it would be an interesting combination between Izzie and this guy.
I feel for George, i want him more, and stronger etc. And he beeing friend with the rest.
Lexie is a very nice girl, but she's just not special, she's just a combination between Izzie and Mer and i cannot find a place for her, i just wish that she'll have her storyline in a way that interacts with the 5:) but not very much, she has to get with an intern and get her love and let George be. I'm happy she excused herself in front of him because he defenetly didn't deserve her anger. Can't wait for the next ep.

Seriously! I love that army guy, he makes my whole week damed happy!!!!!I love that Owen almost cried out when he was talking abt the war with Cristina. I also love that scence that he shut Derek and Mark up. So funny!

I actually like Dr. Hunt. He's not about ego and being the best, he's all about having what i takes to save a life with the tools avail.
As for Callica.. God, I hope Callie's not pregnant, tho it'd make the show really interesting, lol. Poor Erica, she got all emotional after sex. Kinda lame.
Anyway, great episode, dying to know whats on those diaries!! O.O

Did anyone else notice that during the preview Derek says to Hunt, "what you did was maim a guy for the rest of his life", but in the episode it was actually "what you did was almost maim a guy for the rest of his life"? Big difference.
False advertising from ABC, just like for the season premiere. Do they not think the show can stand on its own plots, so they need to make previews that look more dramatic than the show ends up being?

um clearly Callie will is going to be prego. I've been right with every prediction I made about this so far, and I'm calling it now. Callie will be preggers, Mark will admit he wants more with her, Erica will be upset about the preggo situation leave Callie for intern girl, but will get back with Callie and Mark, Callie, & Erica will work some sort of custody thing out. I may not be 100% accurate but it sounds like that's where they are going with it. Remember in season 2 I think Callie was the one who was trying to reasure Mark about being a dad.

Grey's has yet to let me down this season. There were many things from tonight's episode that were very entertaining. I am a huge fan of Callie and Erica and was glad to see Erica show some emotion about her whole experience, though it was a little much.
The whole Hunt thing, scared the living sh*t out of me in the beginning. As the episode progressed I was proud of Christina, she has matured very much as a an individual and as a surgeon. She is going to make an excellent surgeon someday.
Alex and Izzie, what can be said about those two. They're perfect for each other!
Bailey! This woman is amazing. I've been waiting since season three when the Chief told her she was going to be chief of surgery one day, and finally we are seeing her take the lead and prove to the medical world that she is brilliant.
George... where was he this episode? I was watching the clock and was like, where's O'Malley? But was glad to see Lexi and George back at their apartment mending their relat

I think what was important with the Callica situation was that they created the distinction between realizing you're gay and realizing you're bisexual. Erica is clearly comfortable with being gay because she has found something in women she never had with men, and Callie realized that she doesn't see a difference between being with men and women, and that's ok. You don't have to "commit" to being gay or straight. I think it's really impressive how they're depicting sexuality as a fluid thing with Callie. It annoyed the hell out of me in the beginning because I'm such a huge Erica fan, but I understand why Callie had to do what she did.
The way they left it at the end of the episode is what is making me uneasy... Callie seems perfectly content with the situation - being with Erica and just being friends with Mark - which is why I can just tell something involving the 3 of them and their relationships to each other is going to go down. I like Hunt, I'm glad he finally made everyone realize that they need to get over themselves and wanted to actually teach the residents. However, I do agree with the other doctors that youre not in the war zone, youre in a hospital with a lot of technology. Also, everyone hated Addison when she came on the show and she turned out to be a fan favorite, so I'll wait to see what happens with Hunt before I judge. Overall I thought it was a very good episode.
Highlighs for me:
-Bailey telling Hahn off
-Izzie telling Hunt off
-Izzie and Alex at the END of the episode
-Cristina being friendly to her interns (especially lexie) and feeling compassionate about the pigs
-Marke and Callie being more than just friends w/ bens
What I wish there was more of:
-George screen time, did he have like 3 min total?
-MerDer romance
-And the same as above, more Callie being a doctor

I like Hunt! I think he will be a great addition to the team. I loved how instead of getting defensive when Derek and Mark went to yell at him, he asked how to fix what he did wrong. He is man enough to know that he doesn't always know everything (compared to most of the doctors at Seattle Grace) and he asked for advice.
Plus, he just come back from Iraq...give the guy a break.

I was pretty mad about how they were handling the Callie/Erica situation...but I agree I think I feel better about it after this episode. Its understandable that Callie would freak out about the sex and her feelings for Erica. Especially since she's been with men her whole life. It would be different if she was a teenager, but she is an adult...probably in her 30's. Its different and weird for her. I guess she just had to make sure that she felt the way she does about Erica. Even if it took sleeping with Mark to figure it out. Like I said it happens a lot with lesbians who realize they are lesbians when they are grown adults.

I agree as well, Hunt has got to go. And, that thing with the diaries, whoa. Paging Dr. Wyatt. We're gonna need some more therapy I'm thinking. Haha. That was a great episode.
