I agree with everything Meredith except about Gizzie. To me, they had to happen because they are soulmates. The only reason they are not togetehr right now is Shonda chickened out.
I do have to say I am more for George and Lexie than Mark and Lexie. The only reason people want them together is they want Mark to have love and since everyone else is busy somewhere else, Lexie is the only one available.
I am sure the moment they get someone more suited for him, everyone will forget about that mark and Lexie abherration. They would be the God-most awful couple on Grey even worse than Alex and Izzie, and I never thought I would say that.

Why must we jump into relationships so quickly? Lezie is a somewhat new character who, I will admit, need a love interest...EVENTUALLY. But let's not rush her into something just for the sake of drama. It would be greatly disapointing for her to find someone simply to find someone. She should wait for the right man, the right moment. It's reality.
Lexie and mark would be a pair made in Hell. The first turn off is the age difference. Come on, Shonda, he's nearly twice her age! Mark needs a more mature woman closer to his own age. Lexie needs someone younger (perhaps another intern?) and fun, rather than dirty. They simply don't have chemistry.
And now on to George...
I truely love George and Lexie's friendship; they have such a dear bond and truely great chemistry...as friends. ONLY as friends. I would think that making George and Lexie more intimate would ruin their great friendship. Sex ruins so many great friendships on Grey's Anatomy (ahem...Gizzie). It would truely be a shame i

First of all, I find George gorgeous and get very annoyed at the people saying he doesn't get the girl because he is not a hunk. Speak for yourselves, I find George ebautiful. He has the most beautiful gorgeous blue eyes, a great mouth, toned biceps and can kiss like a God. I always melt when i see that elevator kiss with Izzie and the way his hand caresses her. So hot.
I do agree with Gihane, I love that name, that Shonda dumped Gizzie because she thought everyone hated them. This is total bull as they have a huge fanbase. Just look at fanforum how active their fan thread still is and all over the Internet.
I do think the haters spammed and whined louder than the fans did and got their way. I think the same thing is happening with Gexie now.
I think the fact TR is gay has a lot to do with the sudden calls by some that george be gay too or alone.
When he was having sex with izzie and kissing her, there was absolutely nothign asexual aout it. It was hot!

I like the idea of Mark totally falling for Lexie, but not Lexie for Mark...
I'd like them to have a sex story and the one time Mark wants to go for more... she is not going to even think about it,
and see him suffering for a girl and trying to win her with some totally disastrous manners since he's never really donne that,(except for addison but that was different)would be a fun thing to watch.
George is so ... I dont know, so unsexual! and this have totally nothing to do with TR being gay...

Tihana, yeah, Mark and Addie's scene was beyond hot and maybe that's sorta the type of relationship that I envisioned. Booty calls for both of them but until Mark's new love interest comes around and George's love neuron works, I say one night stands. I'd LOVE to see the morning after convo :).
Gihane...harsh much? I think Shonda can't keep everyone happy and because Alex had a thing for Izzie from the beginning and George didn't, Shonda decided for the Alex/Izzie pairing. It's her show after all. I think that Shonda isn't that stupid but she can't ask everyone their opinion. And like I said, she can't keep everyone happy. The thing is that Mer/Der have the biggest fan base and to her, it's the only pairing that needs to stick together no matter what. Unfair? Maybe but no need for the harsh attack.
The truth is that George is as every man in that show. He happened to cheat on his wife with his best friend (Derek/Addison/Mark). Maybe he doesn't has the physical appeal that Derek

George and Olivia was boring. George was at his very best with Izzie. They were hot hot hot together. He is great with Lexie too though, much betetr than Mark and Lexie who look like father and daughter. I don't get this huge love for Mark and Lexie all of a sudden. The fact Mark looks hot and so does Lexie doesn,t mean they should end up together. Is the entire Grey fanbase consisted of shallow idiots who only want the bad hot boys to get the hot girls? That is not what love is about. Mark and Lexie had what, 6 scenes? and now they are true love, pleae! She and George have a much deeper connection. Then you can get your Mark and Lexie if I get my George and Izzie back.

Yes Mark and Lexie should date, they are super hot and are so much fun. George was best with Olivia. I hated him with every one else and that includes Lexie. But I love Mark with Lexie.

Exactly mair, Mark and Alex don't deserve any women, they are total jerks and I hate them both.
George deserves true love. Although I will say George belongs with Izzie but Lexie belongs with george, if that makes sense.

I have said this before but I think it would be interesting if Mark got strung out on Lexie. Maybe he will man up and show some kind of emotion other than lust. I don't think he is lusting after her yet but they have a funny little flicker (maybe a spark) going!

Except Shonda is an idiot. She is controllable. God she actually believed 95% of people hated Gizzie because of a panel everyone knows was spammed. Internet polls don't get more than 100 000 votes and 21 millions people in the US alone watch but she is stupid enough to think polls represent what the whole fanbase feels.
So yes Shonda can be controlled, she proved it by killing Gizzie, she proves it by being scared to even give them friendship scenes and she proves it by having them say they were not in love all the time when we know they were.
Shonda is the biggest coward there is in the world. She is stupid. I fully expect her to never give George any happiness or anything because the shallow fans out there yell so loud and can't stand the fact a great guy like George gets the girl just because he is not hot like mark or Derek or Alex. Well I find George gorgeous and better looking than them but he doesn,t have a great body and that is that matters to the Internet fans.

Heeeey! When I see the comments above, it seems to me that this is not a TV show that's supposed to be fun and relaxing, I see political debates! Grey's anatomy is great, but we all know that we can't control Shonda Rhimes and her writing, so why bother with this all long comments on who should be a couple with who.

Well I don't quite know. Fanpop has some pretty young fans and they love both Gizzie and Gexie there and don't seem that fond of Mark and Lexie. Gizzie wins most polls there and Gexie got 83% support and the average age is 14 to 18. I guess it depends on which site you go to.
I did notice like you say a lot of homophobia. I men people are blaming TR for Callixa and all the bisexual characters. That is so stupid. if TR had so much power, he would have gotten Shonda to forget about the haters and see all the fans Gizzie had and we would still have them.
if he had so much power, he would demand mre screen time and demand that Shonda stop spitting all over his character like she is doing.
I don't know if I have to pick between Gizzie and Gexie, I'd pick Gizzie so in that case, I would vote for Mexie, but if I have to pick between Gexie and Mexie, I'd pick Gexie.
I don't know how to vote here. A vote for Gexie might make it seem like I am giving uip on Gizzie and I am not, but

Well I wonder in this how many people really want Mark and Lexie together or they really don't want George to have her for some reason. Some people they think George is not hot enough to get a love story, some that want George to be gay because TR is (the homophobia from Grey fans on the Net is legandary and quite sad) or some who are Gizzie fans like the one above. I have noticed that while a lot of Gizzie fans love Gexie, a lot hate them too and view them as an inferior version of Gizzie and Lexie as a threat to the Gizzie romance and friendship.
I have seen some on BuddyTV and other sites saying they don't necessarily like Mark and Lexie but anything to get Lexie away from George and Izzie back in his life.
So I wonder.
I am a Gizzie fan above and beyond but I do like Gexie but I know I got into fights with other Gizzie fans about that.
Also some people just love Mark so much and find him hot so they want him to have a love story, whether it be with Callie, Addison or

I hate the idea of Mark dating anyone. Mark needs to stay single for...for forever. Because he's a manwhore and wouldn't be able to hold a steady relationship. Lexie and George would be great together I think. Why do people suddenly assume that Lexie and Mark will get together, anyway? They said that Mark's gonna take Lexie under his wing and help her try to get George's attention.
I swear some of people have the mental capasity of nothing beyond Patrick Dempsey's hair...

Um...I think it would be more appropiate for her to be with George because I just hate the idea of Mark and Derek dating sisters. I posted something like this on BuddyTV. I mean, Meredith's sorta territorial (remember when she told Lexie to go and get some friends?) and in a sick way she would behave like this since Mark is Derek's best friend.
Not sure but maybe a couple of one night stands until George comes around and notices Lexie in a different way? I can take that but not a full relationship between the two of them.

Sorry, Lexie....when all is said and done, George belongs with Izzie. It was done horribly the first time. Give it time, then let those two pursue a NON-ADULTEROUS relationship. The real-life friendship between the actors makes for a wonderful on-screen chemistry.

I am shocked at those results since I know a lot of George and Lexie fans all over the Internet. Are they not voting or something? Especially since Gexie is doing well in other polls. 23% is really low.
But then the polls here always seem to be different from the other sites.

I am kind of shocked too,maybe more Mexie fans post here and more Gexie fans post on those two other sites?
I know the same thing is true with Alex and Izzie. here they are super popular and on BuddyTV, they were named Most hated couple so I guess it depends where you go.
On Fanforum, we have 103 Gexie fans for 27 Mexie ones.

Funny another site has the exact same poll and article and there George is winning with 46% against 32%. And on fanpop, he is winning with 75% against 25%. Weird.
