I have to disagree with you. If you look at how the dynamics have gone for both season 2 and Season 3 between both of these seasons that cast has significantly dropped.
No more West
No more Maya
No more Niki
No more Micah
No more D.L
No more Monica, Dana Davis, or that annoying New Orlean story.
No more Adam Monroe
No more Maury Parkman
Now that Maury is dead it could possibly mean no more Linderman as well. They could show him only now in flash back episodes.
I believe that Trimming of characters is being done. I believe that there is a higher purpose for both Mohinder and Matt espacially since hes mutating at the same time..thats an interesting story as a whole.
Matt's mind fight with Knox was amazing the way he was talking all dark before he got punch stabbed, but I really want him to kick somebody's ass to show how bad ass he is as a cop. I like how Claire wants to mature and is showing that she can be a bad ass and I am hopeful that she will be part of the

Nooo, I love Elle, she shouldnt be killed, shes not in all the episodes anymore any way, claire on the other hand is straight up annoying, but cant be killed. Maury just died and maya left (thank God), umm monroe also died so they are killing off characters... true that they should get rid of tracy (larter) that character is extremely pointless doesn serve a purpose at all, where as knox is also a stupid character and doesn deserve to be on the show. Meredith has no purpose of being on the show either except for that how cool is nathan for having slept with both fire and ice, lol... i also don get why african isaac has to be all the way in africa, i agree wit alex 5 minutes on each character while tryin to take the plot forward is holdin the show back, they can only proceed a limited amount in an episode

I'd prefer if they killed Elle and Claire. I hate stupid blondes. Maybe Maya's character sucked, but she was the only beautiful woman on the show.

Right on. By cutting down on characters you can give more depth to the other characters. Putting 8 characters in one episode and giving them all 5 minutes of screentime is holding the show back.
I think Company Man is a great example of what you can do when you focus on one character per episode, while still moving the overarching plot forward. And think of what that did for Noah as a character. He was liked before, but after Company Man, he was adored.
It does seem as though they're cutting off a lot of the dead weight. No more Maya, or Niki/Jessica. Unfortunately, there's no more Adam Monroe either, but hey, sacrifices must be made.
Sylar: I can't bring Nathan back Peter, but I can sure as Hell swing a sledgehammer.
