Tie the knot! Tie the knot! Of coarse they should get married. But not too soon.... Maybe at the end of the season also the dream house... Make it one of Derek's wedding surprise for Meredith :)

iloveder, great idea about the home wedding. It'd be intimate and quiet, just how they are :).
So...build the damn house already! I'll even donate the first brick. Or my time to build it. However it works as long as it's in the works!!

Let us see that hot DerMer Chemistry..PLEASE..in the bedroom, callroom, linen closet, the trailer, livingroom, kitchen...anywhere they can get together.. We haven't seen any of it yet this season..AND WE MISS IT
It's a little early for them to tie the knot, but building their dream house would be wonderful to see. Just give Meredith the independence and strength she had in Season 1 and 2. She has earned it, and give the girl a break.She is an awesome actor, whining just doesn't work anymore. We've had enough of that, Shonda.

Jeeze. I agree with Jay.
Calm down. This show is great! Cristina is HILARIOUS and I'm very happy because Meredith is actually fun this season! If you don't like the show don't write crap here about it.
On another note. I don't believe it's time for MerDer to tie the knot. they still have some growing to do. Hopefully by the end of this season though!! :)

Another thing, I think that if they get married towards the end of the show, it'll all be rushed and they can miss some stuff that happens with marriage. My vote goes to next season marriage. Like Patrick, I believe that they'll have an unconventional marraige so it'll be interesting to see how that develops. Maybe Meredith will stop whining then and I have to enjoy that for like, a lot of seasons.

I say get them married but not just yet. I'd love to see them build the dream house first and maybe the day that they move in, he can propose or something. We all know that Derek wants to get married and the whole nine yards so the ball's on Meredith's court. It can open a new window of storylines but for some strange reason I think that Meredith will end up pregant first. Bad feeling that I have...LOL.

I'm so over those guys. And the entire show really. I've tried again this year but the stupidity goes on and on. The show has lost the magic it started with. Meredith is soooooo boring and I'm just too tired to listen to her anymore. Christina is ridiculous at best. A few of the cast are still OK but mostly they act stupid to the point of channel changing quickly. And really, having women moon over George is just retarded. He's a man lover, not a woman lover. Write him a man script, not a woman script and we might believe it. And forget a wedding. It won't help this pathetic show one bit. Besides anyone wanting to marry Meredith is too unbelievable to begin with.

they should just get married!!!!! and have their happy every after last for actually 1 day!then they could illustrate the usual marital problems that no other couple confronted during the seasons...and then problems can happen, he may break his hand, leg, she could save him like he did once!,someone could move!!! usual problems but yes! let them just get married ! they give us hope... they do

I would love to see them get married and build the dream house either this season or early next season. It is nice to see a show let the couple get together and make them stay together, stick it out through the fights and realize that they are in it for the long haul, even if the road isn't always smooth. This is life, this is marriage. It isn't all honeymoon (although I wish Derek and Meredith would get back in bed or the tub or on call room or something again soon!)Besides, there are plenty of other relationships for the writers to play with to keep the tension.
