Leanne Marshall was named season five champion of Project Runway last night.

The new fashion guru was interview about the honor by People Magazine. Here are excerpts of the interview:

How does it feel to win Project Runway?
Amazing! It’s so great to finally be having it out there and be able to celebrate it. It’s an amazing feeling.

Is the plan to grow the fashion line you’ve had for the past couple of years, Leanimal, with the money from Project Runway?
I’m doing my line as Leanne Marshall now. I’m gonna be moving to New York and starting a production company. I’ve been getting so many orders and I’m ready to have people helping me and working for me and it’ll be nice to not have to sew 24 hours a day trying to do everything frantically myself (laughs).
