Jess, you could be so right. Maybe Erica figured out and Callie has distanced herself since they slept together. I would totally like to see Callie and Erica stay as a couple but maybe Sadie is interested in erica and finally Callie might get jealous and realise what's happening.
If they break up I guess they're not best friends anymore either!!

That scene with Cristina/Mer running down the hall is fabulous and hilarious!!! I love my Cristina/Mer moments. They are priceless!! I'm an Mer/Der fan and an Cristina/Burke fan.
I am 100% supportive of McHottie with Cristina. They both both sizzle on screen together.
What I'm not supportive of is Shonda trying to get me to believe that Mer/Melissa George and a gay relationship.
Let's not even go there, okay!!!
And where in the hell is the Loving Romance and titillating SEX with Mer/Der??? How about working on THAT!!!!!

Seriously?? This contest over AI and Gizzie's fans sucks so bad! Why all this hate? it's good to have different opinions... but sucks when you all are bitching around like this!
I hated when Gizzie were together, but I never thought about quitting the show! I gave them a try... (but being honest, Izzie was the most annoying character when she was with George... I mean, the love could be there, this storyline could be great, but someone just messed it up... making she acts like a jerk and pushing him all the time... it really distroyed all the possible magic.) Now, all we have to do is wait for her moment with Alex. (and hope that noone will screw it up this time!)
By the way... just loved Cristina in those scenes!!! Hilarious!

Alex and Izzie make me sick. Their relationship is so abusive it makes me want to cry. I do like some abusive couples like CB but they have chemistry. AI has none. It's like watching a brother and sister kiss. Yuck!

Really? McDreamy does nothing for me. He is a total jerk in love with himself who treats women like dirt. My favorite guy is George. I guess I don't judge a guy based on his looks like so many Grey watchers.
Grey sucks. That is why the ratings suck so bad lately.
Shonda is a hack and a coward, no love there.

I already quit watching. My best friend did too and she couldn't care less about AI or Gizzie for that matter. The show has just lost its magic.
To tell the truth Gizzie was the one thing magic left and now it is gone. I would have stayed if she gave us friendship scenes, but we get nothing and George gets less airtime than the new interns.
Grey is lame lame lame. Nothing to love there.
I do hope Izzie gets a STD. That's be funny and show just how romantic AI are.

Ok we'll stop complaining about Alex and Izzie just like the AI fans stop complaining about Gizzie and let us enjoyed them in peace. Wait they didn't and now we don't even get friendship scenes.
This isn't even a Gizzie fan thing. Both my sisters hate Gizzie but they told me yesterday even Gizzie was better than Alex and Izzie, ANYTHING was better than Alex and Izzie. Thwy are not Gizzie fans.
You AI fans are so pathetic that you don't see that people hate AI because Alex is a jerk and AI have no chemistry.
I would hate him even if I hated Gizzie.
I could love ehr with Mark or a new guy so this really has nothing to do with Gizzie at all. Many of us have said it, but you AI fans are just too stupid to get it.
Listen up, we Gizzie fans love them so much we could settle with friendship and Izzie being with another guy AS LONG AS IT IS NOT ALEX.

I am a feminist, since when? Hmm do you watch the show, do you not remember the huge fight Izzie and George had about Meredith where the divorce lawyer saw them fighting so passionately she thought they were married. That was back in season 2, big hint anyone? Izzie said she ONLY encouraged him to go after Mer because she thought Mer would reject him and he would be free of his Mer obsession. She didn't want him with Mer. pay attention. She made sndie remarks about George and Olivia. Rewatch episode 9, season 1, when Alex gives George a condom to have sex with Olivia, and watch Izzie's face. She is green with jealousy at that moment. Season 2 has Izzie telling George she just needs sex and when he mouths he will do her, she looks down at his lips and gives him the biggest flirting smile. Katie has said she and TR have acted like Gizzie were secretely wanting each other since seaswon 1 and they intentionnally put out those hints.

Stop complaining about Alex and Izzie, you sad Gizzie fans... I think their relationship has been there from the start, just kind of on and off. They should get another chance.
More importantly, I'm with Sandy on this... If they make Meredith bisexual, I QUIT.
She is the main character, for crying out loud! You can't just change her in the 5th season! Seriously, SERIOUSLY, I will lose ALL respect for the writers and the show if they actually decide to pull that crap.

Give me a break. Katie herself said Izzie was never in love with Alex, that she was in lust with him. It was all about taming her sexual beast in season 2. When Alex asked her why she was erady for George but not him, why she rejected him, she said because I fell in love with George, which clearly meant she was NOT in love with Alex.
She was in lust with him and pitied him. He was always in love with ehr but it was always one-sided. Now she can't help what her heart wants. She couldn't help it when she was in love with Denny and George either, but that at least made sense. We saw her feelings for thsoe guys.
With Alex, she was lusting after him then didn't give a crap about him for two seasons and then suddenly he boo-hoos a little, and she suddenly falls in love with him. Give me a freaking break!

LOL!!! No one has ever called me a feminist in all my life!!! (I am SO not :) Thanks for that chuckle-- that was a new one for me.
I really don't see the Izzie/Alex thing as love. Never have. Lust maybe... strong sexual chemistry maybe, but never love. He's had moments when he's sweet and tender with her-- almost protective. Those are really cute moments. But I've never thought it was love between them.
Now when it comes to how he treats her-- some argue that it was happening between them and then she just tossed him aside for Denny, but even back then he treated her badly at times. And she chose to turn away. Right now the writer's haven't even given them moments when he's sweet to her (maybe a blanket around her shoulders once) and in turn she jumps in bed with him? Doesn't make sense.
I do agree with you that love does not always choose the best. We love who we love.
But I don't think that what Izzie and Alex have is love.

I agree totally with you. George & Izzie were such close friends for so long. The writers don't even let them interact these days-- makes no sense really. Us Gizzie fans love Gizzie. Any interaction, even the purely friend kind is much appreciated!

Thanks for seeing my point of view. No worries-- no bashing here. I'm not the fan who is leaving the show. I'm not the fan that says if this happens then I'll turn off the TV. I love Greys. But I hate Alex and Izzie together, enough so that I can't just say nothing.

I am with you T - Callie looks great these days, I am just thrilled with the way the Callie-Erica relationship is being handled - very realistic. I figured Izzie & Alex would end up together - they are so very opposite in many ways makes for an interesting and dramatic relationship. I am so way over Meredith and Derek I am glad to see new blood coming in and Cristina being challenged for the first time in a while.
I suspect Erica may be feeling emotional about Callie - in a good way. I also think Erica has worked hard for years to suppress her emotions so the fact that they have surfaced is hard for her to deal with.

Concerned and Erica Fan - I agree with your worries! Erica's usually pretty crabby, but she's never outright rude to Bailey like this, so something had to have happened.
I'm sure her mood is a result of Callie/Mark. Seriously, I have no problem with Callie sleeping with multiple people to figure out what she really wants, that's great, we've all done it, but the fact that she is sleeping with Mark and Erica at the same time and Mark knows but Erica doesn't is really really shady.
Honestly, the fact that it's obvious how much more into the relationship Erica is than Callie, and the fact that you just know (because it's Greys) that Erica is going to get her heart broken, makes me appreciate her character that much more. It will be interesting to see if she'll become a ball of rage at everyone (as evidenced by the clip) or if she'll find someone else in the hospital to get all emotional on.

GreysAddiction, let me tell you something and don't take this personally. Love doesn't choose the best one. Remember the McVet??? He was so great and just awesome, I'd get with him in a heartbeat and I already love someone. But if I had to choose between between my my sweetie and McVet, I'd pick my sweetie. Why? well, bc it doesn't matter who is the best person, it matters who you love. IT MATTER WHO THE ONE IS! (I kinda made an allusion to the Matrix) And this Izzie/Alex thing has been trying to happen since season 1!!! If Izzie could pick someone else, she would.
So no...It's not disgusting!!! It's frigging love. And he just isn't the type who adjusts well to a new type of relationship! And he will most likely have to act quickly, bc he'll notice that if he doesn't change he will end up losing her again!
Just watch the plot and stop being such a feminist.
