I really love the clip when Yang sees Major Hottie and runs away as well, the look on Meredith's face is priceless.

Why do people think that George and Izzie should get back together. Half the time they don't even show the two of them together on screen. Alex and Izzie are hot together but come on spice up the words. And why all the gay thing. Where was Mark in all this. Why couldn't they all 3 be together not at the same time. But the gay thing it is just stupid.

I agree with the point that we need more george/izzie time. I guess i can accept that she is with alex, (I will have to SEE it to believe it though) but i need at least a MINUTE of george/izzie contact! I mean come on! They are best friends. Anyways, i cant wait to see the new ep.! I LOVE christina's bit! I love bailey's reaction to the creepy doll, and i think its real funny that merideth has it! Haha! I cant wait to see the male drs reaction to McArmy! Haha. That should be good. Even if george and izzie dont get together, i want someone good for george. If they make izzie and alex a bit happier together, that mite be good. i really want george to be happy. Get him a great gal please!

I agree that they weren't as close. I think that it is all a matter of opinion. I have seen a connection, at least from Alex's side, since the beginning. In S3, he let her help with the fake boob guy and also gave her a pep talk about her moving on when she was ready the night she slept with George. In S4, he told her that Cristina had nothing her as far as being a good doctor.
On the other hand, I always thougth that G/I had a great friendship, but I never saw any physical attraction between them whatsoever except George saying that Izzie was a stacked supermodel type. I NEVER saw any attraction from Izzie's die. In fact, she encouraged George to go after Meredith.

greysaddiction, you have made some really good points. I have always hated people for not liking the Alex / Izzie relationship, and although I don't like Gizzie, I see what you're saying about Alex, and that the show does need to show us some positive tings. Even though Alex just went through a tragedy, we haven't seen his good side in a long while. And although I ultimaetly want to see Alex and Izzie together and happy in a relationship, I don't think that Izzie should be sleeping with Alex already. He has so much to make up for before he earns that. I also agree with TR. Everything you said was absoluetly true. But disregarding whatever side you take on it, I think the storyline will be interesting, Katie Heigl said she was very happy with it, and even if Izzie and Alex don't work out (I'm prayind they do), I hope Alex will grow up- but I hope he does it himself, and not just because of Izzie, although I agree she should help him or support him.

Yeah but Alex and Mer were never as close as George and Izzie. George and Izzie were each other's persons no matter how hard they are trying to rewrite as Alex being her person. Even this site blathered on about Izzie and Alex always having a connection. I sure didn't see that connection in season 3 at all or when she was with Denny. George and Izzie, on the other hand, never spent more than two episodes not sharing close scenes that showed their bond until Shonda lost her courage. She'd make the Lion in Wizard of Oz seem brave.

I do agree that the writers are ignoring some major friendships. Not only George and Izzie, but Alex and Meredith haven't had a good scene (and they have lots to talk about). Plus, George and Callie were married for God sake, but you would never know it to see the show this season.

Alex must have some many STD eww, what is Izzie thinking? I am starting to not even like her anymore. I can't believe George and Izzie are in the same room and not even saying a word to each other, so so wrong. If they again don't give George and izzie scenes this week, I am done with the show. This is the last chance I am giving them. They can't treat the Gizzie fans that way and get away with it.

How funny is it that they didn't show the AI sex? Thank God, my poor eyes couldn't have taken the horror. Alex is 99,9% of the time a jerk and clearly doesn't deserve Izzie. George did though. They were so much a better couple.

I think we tend to forget that Alex was very much into Izzie before she blew him off for Denny! dont get me wrong, i am a huge fan of Izzie and Denny...however, during that period he made a HUGE effort for her! AND she then kind of blew him off again for George... (remember the "you told me you werent ready for a relationship and now you tell me this like im one of your chick friends?") now, im not excusing his behaviour because he has been making me SO angry right now, but i can kind of see why hes doing this even though i think hes going around it the wrong way....maybe he thinks hes going to trust Izzie again only to get blown off when something better comes along (like Denny and George...)
I do agree Izzie shouldn't be taking the abuse from him though, come on Shonda, where is the plucky, passionate girl who cut LVAD wires for love and refused to take Mark Sloan's cr*p?!

I don't like the Alex/Izzie scene, but agree with TR's sentiment and statements. Plus, we have yet to see the entire episode, let alone the rest of the scenes between Alex and Izzie of that episode.

For the record I am a major Hahn/Callie fan. Come on Grey's...give us more!!! I am not however, an AI fan. I liked George and Izzie much better together. I am very curious to see what this new Sadie brings to the show. ;) Oh and btw...Callie is hotter than ever! Yeah...

I actually think that Alex wants to be exclusive with Izzie and not sleep with other women, but because he is Alex he isn't asking in the right way. They are both stubborn and they each want to see what the other thinks before they say anything.
I know that lots of G/I fans hate Alex, but just remember that although he has been a jerk lately, that isn't all he is. He has also been supportive and sweet to Izzie, Meredith, Bailey, Cristina, etc. Just like George isn't just an adulterer and Izzie isn't just an organ stealing, LVAD wire cutter. They all have good and bad qualities.

I just LOVE the first clip. Cristina running like that was HILARIOUS! Especially when you notice the mortified look on Meredith's face.
The drumming music in the background also makes the whole scene so overly dramatic. I love Grey's.

These previews all look like great stuff. They really really do. Except one.
Alex & Izzie. This is disgusting. She's right in saying he acts like a barbarian. Izzie needs to get some self-value here and walk away. So, poor wounded Alex is testing her, so poor wounded Alex is so broken he doesn't know how to treat a partner with respect. What woman has not had some phase of her life when she always wanted the jerk-guy, the wounded bird that could still love on some level and was only going to love just her and she would/could fix him??? So, you want to say it's realistic? Fine, I guess you might have something there. But I can tell you that NONE of us who have matured beyond this twisted way of seeking a relationship wants to relive it by watching our favorite characters degrade themselves the same way that we have finally learned not to.
Disgusting, Shonda, come on!
Honestly, I am a Gizzie fan. George is a million times more a better man which makes him a million time
