He's baaaack!

Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) is now head of trauma at SGH, and it's not taking him long to shake things up. That applies to his job, and his relationship with Cristina, who's thrown off by his return.

Below is a promo for Thursday's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Life During Wartime," in which the attendings and the residents clash with Dr. Hunt, while a newly-empowered Bailey is entrusted by the Chief with a heightened level of responsibility.

Sneak previews and promotional photos to come soon!

i agree helen! we need more merder scenes. i know that the whole show is not about meredith and derek but there is usually always something in the promo or a sneak peek about them. I don't know if its a good thing or bad thing. (by good thing i mean that it is to good of a scene to show before tonight). I guess we will have to wait for tonight!

ROFL, that's so awesome! I'm so curious about what he's doing, can't wait :)

Mctwisted dreams

haha laura i thought mer holding the doll was strange too! from watching one of the sneak peaks, it sounds like it's an "Anatomy Doll" with 24 removable organs and something can be added to make her look pregnant! it's one very cool doll ;) when she tells cristina about it before they start running, it was given to her when she was about 5 (probably from her mum)

Let the DRAMA BEGIN!!!!
McHottie is intense. He's Military and a trauma Dr. He does not have time to make nice. He's about getting the job done and saving lives. He is going to be short, quick and to the point. What ever it takes!!
He and Cristina are going to be smoking hot!!!

Ooohhh!!! I sense trouble!! Looks like McDreamy and McSteamy aren't exactly happy about him. However, Cristina running from him? PRICELESS. About the doll thing, there are some previews flying around where she talks about it being a gift from (or for) a 5 year old or something like that.

that should be some!

Ohh! I sence som DRAMA!

why is meredith holding a doll?

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
