how about being ashamed of your family is that a sign of respect?
honestly, i like george, i think he's a good character but he's not perfect, no character in the show is, that's what makes it interesting!
and also ppl, it's a show!relax!and if you're not watching the show anymore why would you come to a site about the show?!only so you can complain about it?
again it's tv, relax!if it's making you puke just turn it off!

I agree with you that the "best friends should stay best friends" comment is off the mark. The best relationship I ever had was with someone I considered to be a close friend. Unfortunately, the relationship ended and with it went the friendship. For some people, the chance of that happening isn't worth the risk.
Perhaps its not that the writers are ignoring Gizzie and their friendship, but that its not feasable for that story line to continue in the same manner. Its character development. George moved out and he failed his exam and things didn't work out with Izzie! Talk about awkward! Suddenly your once equals are your superiors? Its not unreasonable to assume that, with the exception of Meredith, the rest of the gang isn't going to be seeing a lot of George. The only ended relationships that turned into friendships for me required a time of separation. Perhaps these two need to be apart for a while to fully appreciate the friendship they had. I thought the episode was pretty good, though last week's was better.
I only like Alex and Izzie when Alex isn't being a total jackass... if he is I completely agree with Guillaume, abusive men are definitely not sexy.
I liked Gizzie. I'm not a die hard fan or anything, but it sucks that they get seriously no screen time together. =(
And Callie and Erica are kind of weird... I don't know.
They're just so awkward. And I understand why they would be (uncharted territory and all that, I get it) but it's just odd.
So that's my humble opinion. =P

Izzie is a really positive, good, emotional person.. Alex is like her patient, she works so hard to fix him, I find it cute because we all know deep down Alex is in love with her

Well McAbby, now we are not even getting Gizzie as best friends or do you count the 40 seconds scene last week, the first in 4 months, as sign of their friendship. We have nothing.
And please tell that to my wife who married me ehr best friend 35 years ago that best friends should stay best friends. i am sure she will agree that our wonderful marriage was a mistake.
Gizzie was us, and I miss them. AI is abusive and not a relationship that should be promoted. I can't believe women find abusive men sexy.
I treat my wife with respect. Is that not exciting enough for women today?

George rules. He is portrayed badly, but he is not a bad guy. I think lexie has a point, but she took it too far. Sure, he should have asked for her, but i am pretty sure he knew it would not make a difference. As bailey said, "Do you think i got to choose my interns?" They dont get a choice, but it would not have hurt to make a request. I think she is still upset about when he ditched her for izzie and mer. Izzie and alex...well i have never scene them as a couple. I think that is one we'll have to see to believe. I am not too keen tio the idea, but at first i hated callie and george, but i saw different later. who knows. we should give them a chancwe before deciding. I really didnt like Gizzie tho. Trust me, best friens are ment to stay best friends. It was a good couple on paper, but i dont think it would have worked. i love them as best friends. I hope that callie and erica stay together. Yeah that is why the ratings keep falling. The AI fans might spam the polls but the ratings speak for themselves. Most people don,t buy into this abusive sick couple.
The Gizzie fans have elft the show. Yay! And any one with any smarts.

Barbie Izzie, LOL, I'll call her that now. I loved her with george. They were amazing. But now any girl who picks the abusive loser over the cute guy is not worth it? George can have better. I am not watching anymore.
The ratings were 14,21 millions so doesn't seem like only the Gizzie fans are getting tired of the show and their awful couples.

Yikes, everyone is so cranky today! I loved this episode, although I also wish Meredith and Derek would work together instead of fighting and making up every episode, and at least if they are going to do that, we should get to see some of the making up in bed after. The thing is, as much as I miss the old steamy MerDer scenes, I love the sweet ones now too. As for Izzie and Alex, I am still undecided on this couple. George and Izzie were sweet, but I have several very Barbie/Izzie like friends who tend to end up picking the abusive hot guy over the cute sweet guy all the time. So, although people may not like it, I find it pretty true to life. Long live MerDer! Grey's rocks!

I am sorry but aren't we Gizzie fans depressed enough already without you putting in an anti-Gizzie comment AGAIN. Really I thought this site was better than that. It is bad enough Shonda acts like they never happened and weren't even best friends and that we have to watch that disgusting AI business, without you making nasty comments.
The ratings were bad again and I couldn't be happier.

I get so mad at how this show treats George. I love George. I thought they couldn't make me madder than when they killed Gizzie (and don't get me started on the 30 seconds of shared airtime those two got in 4 months), but now what they are doing to George makes me even angrier, so much so that I am leaving the show. I am tired of jerks like Alex winning, I hate AI, while George never does.
And God have any fanbase ever been treated more badly than Gizzie?

Alex and izzie is like a bad stomach flu. They leave you wanting to throw up all the time. They disgust me.
And yes why are they trying to portray George as the bad guy because he didn't notice Lexie? The writers were praising her for acting like an irrational teen. Hello. Is this show written by 12-year old idiots?

Alex and Izzie make me puke. I also read Lexzieyuck as a nickname but Lexziepuke describes them better. Alex is an ugly troll of a man who abuses women and people for fun and gets rewarded by a beautiful, but obviously mentally unstable woman like Izzie with no self-esteem kissing him. I would watch ehr mouth if I was her, think of all the STD he must have there.
George is a million times the man little boy Alex would ever dreamed of being.
But hey after this episode, I am done with the show.

Alex and Izzie are great! George is invisible to me, weak character. Callie and Erica are awkward and disturbing, hope that ends quickly. Meredith and Derek are very nice together but I sure hope the fighting and making up every episode stops. It woul be nice to see them facing something as a couple, together against the world and not fighting each other.

Well their haters call Alex and Izzie lexziepuke. That works for me. This couple is abusive and Izzie telling him she cared about him as he continue to yell at her and abuse her verbally like he has been doing for weeks proves that.é I use to want George wqith Izzie, but now I get that Izzie is seriously messed up and disturbed,. She only wants a guuy if he is either unavailable, dying or treats her like scum. Abuse is love on Grey.
George so didn't deserve that jerk title.
