I'm writing from australia and we are a bit behind here. But i have to agree with cassie. It's such a pity they killed denny off so early when clearly the izzy/ denny relationship was such a charm on this show. denny has been the only decent guy who has real chemistry and is a good match for izzy. I mean, the woman is a goddess, she needs an alpha male, not sweet old george or just a bit too screwed up alex. damn that they killed him off so soon..they must have regretted that decision over many a script meeting! JDM is a total hunk..it sounds like a very weird, risky but bizarrely interesting storyline to me...

I can't help it, I simply enjoy every moment of the Izzy/Denny
storyline. I read all your comments and I can see how this is confusing and lacks any logic at this point, but let`s just hang in there and see where this is going. Here in Germany people have programmed their recorders for those upcoming scenes
with JD Morgan. They read about it and simply can``t wait to see him again. No other guest character has ever been this popular with the fans. I've seen all the new parts already and no, it isn't making any sense to me either, but I still can't wait to see how it ends. It`s just like someone else said here already: real life happens elsewhere...

I agree with ITSWHATJESUSWOULDFREAKINDO (sweet name too, by the way) and tara. Just wait it out people. It is interesting and entertaining. It's just like. . . what's it called. . . Oh yeah, A TV SHOW!!! Sit back and enjoy seeing where it goes. And stop complaining about Meredith and Derek-they're happy and funny, and the more you complain the more people complain about the others who have lost face time because of all of the yuck-like Sadie-just watch the show! Hunt and Christina-another great reason to watch!

While I agree with Sara and many JDM fans like me, I do think the way they brought him back was the kind of plot for one or two episodes. Soon it's going to become really painful and I just wish it would have been more of Izzie dreaming of JDM or something... something more realistic... maybe that's what we are going to realize, maybe she is dreaming... but seriously, for a ghost to come back and freaking have sex with her... damn, that's just too much for some of us (and God knows I was damn pissed when they killed Denny in the first place... or is he even dead??? hmmm, we'll see what Shonda gives us, Meredith died for 3 episodes, maybe Denny will resurrect after 3 seasons... lol).

Oh yeah, forgot, um, Katherine Heigl shows her acting chops to the fullest with JDM because the story is giving her that opportunity. What if it was Alex, or whoever else, that had the heart problem, and came back to life? Ok, really, I don't think that Heigl acts extremely well because of JDM, it's because of the storyline people.

OMG! The Denny thing has got to go! I have resorted to calling the show "Grey's Whisperer", and that's definitely not a good thing. Honestly, this weeks episode is going to be so awesome, I saw spoilers and I think this is the week that Alex tells Izzie he loves her, much to Denny's disgust (of course he's there to witness it, he's following her everywhere after all). I just hope that this nonsense ends soon, with a happy outcome.
And honestly, Rhimes is showing her desperation to bring JDM back to the show. The dead in the show have more airtime than actual live characters, i.e. MerDer, GEORGE!
It is total B.S. and this show is on the verge of going down the drain, as much as I hate to say it.

I find this all so ridiculous! Getting all fired up over a TV show. It's not real people!!! Channel this passion into something important, like helping the poor , feeding the hungry, finding a cure for cancer or whatever. This is an escape for me from the real world stresses, so I'm enjoying it. I will say that watching interns hacking each other up down in the basement is far more disturbing to me then Izzie having sex with a ghost! Denny...hot dead and alive!!!

Its OK to like JDM the actor, but to keep bringing Denny back as a ghost just makes it obvious they made the biggest mistake ever by having him die in the first place. It was season 2 whan all that happened, the show needs to move onto new stories for its five main characters. NO MORE DENNY!!!
Its getting daft now, we want new stories for George, MerDer, Lexie, Izzie, Alex & Cristina. Please.

Hmm..ok so if Izzie doesn't have a tumor than maybe Shonda does! I mean how else can she explain this bizarre dead man story?!I used to like Denny and his character but seriously if hes gonna keep on smiling like an idiot and saying "I'm here for you Izzie ...am not going anywhere" crap again and again i'll kill him myself!hah! but then again hes already dead!If this is how they wanna shoot up their rating then they might as well bring Burke and Addy back..as ghosts or humans..their choice. The only reason the ratings seem to be going up with the dead man romance thing is coz of curiosity .Get my fav show BACK ON TRACK PLZZZZZZ!

As much as I love JDM... THIS IS MADDNESS! I mean seriously. I could've tolerated it a little better if Denny was really a ghost. But once Izzy touched him, I made it to a whole nother level of disappointment. Those little spots he was doing when there were other dead people, those were fine. But please Shonda, don't make me sit through alive/dead Denny with crazy Izzy. Izzy is supposed to be with Alex, and everything is supposed to go back to normal.
Unless they can throw in a weird explanation (the tumor thing would've worked fine) or if she's about to get killed off, that'd help. But my goodness, STOP THE MADDNESS!!!!!!!

Do not even say that! How can anyone want Ellis back? Isn´t Meredith messed up enough? and that particular ghost would haunt not only Meredith but Richard as well...
And if you still believe the Denny thing is Ok because this is fiction so it doesn´t have to be realistic, wait until some alien lands on SGH... maybe the ghost whisperer: seattle isn´t enough, maybe she wants to create a SGH Files or something...
And changing the subject... Mark and Lexie? he is what almost 20 years older? not that age matters that much, but emotionally it does, if Meredith is a 12 year old, then Lexie is what, five?

I agree with those of you who think that TV shows, just as books and movies (and lots of other things) don´t need to be too realistic. BUT there is one thing that needs to be there regardless of the theme. Coherence. Consistency.
What I mean is, everytime you start a game you name the rules and you follow them. You create a world, with its own rules, and you make them stick. You do that, and you create a universe that works. For example, Harry Potter. He is a wizard. He casts spells and uses a magic wand and flies on a broom. We all know that is not realistic, but we find it makes sense because the world in which he exists, the one JKR created for him, makes him realistic.
Anyway, the reality Shonda created for Grey´s Anatomy doesn´t include ghosts! Maybe some medical miracle, but not ghosts. I could buy Izzie seeing Denny, but touching him and having sex with him? That is just beyond my comprehension.
Maybe the one with the brain tumor is Shonda! She actually belives this

Ratings is UP because of Kevin McKidd. Honestly, nobody is actually watching for that horrible dead denny romance. UGH SICK.
I for one am watching the show for hot christowan romance. Srsly, christina and owen can create heat that'd burn down the world.
I really do love JDM, but enough of Denny already.. really!!!..i'm starting to hate the show..I LOve mark but id ont want him to be with Lexie..I want him to be with Callie instead...Coz it seem like everyone of them have hooked up with each other..i want to see more intern to intern interactions..and also more interesting medical and surgical cases

I honestly don't think they have a reasonable explanation for Izzie seeing Denny. They're probably gonna play it that Alex does something great, honorific, memorable, or romantic like save her life or something and she'll get over Denny/move on. But i doubt there will be a logical explanation and fans will be dissapointed.
I agree with many fans here that it is tiring and not worthwhile watching a love story that you know won't go anywhere. You know they won't get married or have babies or do anything other than make fake love to each other. And I can see many fans who do love JDM, hate his character for holding Izzie back with a boring ghost love story. I wish the writers of tv shows read fan's feedbacks. I know I would...

alright. denny is a great character. and amazing character. i understand why he was killed off BUT i dont freakin understand why he came back. it better be rationalized ; because i was happy with alex/izzie with the "i care about you .. i care about you" thing going on. it was lovely. it better be good.
now, the PP crossovers? FRICK im excited. VERY excited. i wanna see addison again - i miss her . the sophisticated female attending! OMG. i miss her. *sigh*
and WHAT? lexie/mark? WRONG. WRONG WRONG!!!! evil people. give george/lexie a shot. come on. george needs some action. and so does lexie. mark can get his action from callie ; maybe even sadie. ARGH.
i honestly don't care if the shows realistic. i just want it rationalized. i think that those two things are different from each other.

I only watched Grey's Anatomy originally because of Isaiah Washington who played Dr Preston Burke. That was until Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared as Denny Duquette in Season Two.I watched every week from his first appearance to his last in that season. I also found myself deeply affected when Denny was killed off.I know that was all due to the wonderful actor,Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who portrayed Denny so well.I have loved seeing Denny/Jeff appear in the past and I am so happy to get another chance now to see my favourite Grey's Anatomy character in this show again.I think Katherine Heigl's (Izzie) acting is better when on screen with Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Denny compared to all her scenes without him. They have a great chemistry when they appear on screen together.I refuse to be negative about Denny and Izzie and this new storyline.I wait with anticipation to see what Shonda Rhimes comes up with next and in the future for this great couple.

I really used to look forward to Thursdays, but that has changed completely this season. It sounds crazy, but I never watched Grey's until last year when I watched the first 3 seasons in 4 days! I was addicted!! The beginning of last year wasn't that great, but got much better after the strike and I started looking forward to Grey's again. Now, I don't look forward to it at all. I will still watch in hopes that it gets better, but I never used to have to hope. It was always good until now.
