I have watched Grey's from the beginning. I had a reason to, I know TR. Then Denny appeared and I tuned in to watch HIM!!! He stole every scene he was in and made Izzie come alive. When he was killed off, I cried for hours!!!! I was very angry and wanted to stop watching the show. I kept watching tho, because of TR. Now that Denny is back, I am GLUED to he show every week!!!! It has been a better season so far this year, than it was all year last year. I am TIRED of the on again/off again of MER/DER. All the bed hopping has gotten boring too, it is like everyone has slept with everyone else. I liked the show when it focused evenly on the patience and the Dr.'s. That is what needs to be addressd. Denny is a breathe of fresh air, he is bringing back some humor to the show. I also enjoy seeing Jeff back on TV. His movies are great, but they seem to have problems with their release dates. Give the storyline a chance to weave it't magic before you critize it too much. You mi

I LOVE THAT DENNY IS BACK!!!! We were soooo robbed when Denny was taken from us too soon. It makes perfect sense that Izzie would need advise from Denny now to figure out how to go on with her life. He was the love of her life, she needs to have closure with Denny and then she will be able to move on. She did not get to complete her relationship with Denny, so she is doing so now in her mind. It is a way of closure for her. I am having a blast seeing how Denny pops in and what he does. We had missed them making love, now that part is complete. Izzie needs to think through her actions, look at all the mistakes she made last year. I mean come on, GEORGE, seriously????? Izzie is questioning her going back to Alex too, she needs to figure out what she wants, Denny is there to help her do so. Besides how can you NOT LOVE SEEING JEFF EVERY WEEK????? I mean SERIOUSLY!!!!!

Okay to all JDM lovers: If you love him so much watch his movies! I like him too he's a funny guy... but I have no idea how someone can have a crush on him or something like he's quite cute but well...
My point is JDM stop writing the whole time you want him on GA cause it's stupid so many people(including me) hate him now because of this role. I wanted to watch his new movie but now I won't cause I can't see his face anymore... It reminds me how mad I am about the whole storyline!
In the moment I'm really thinking to stop watching Grey's Anatomy. (I should mention that I love that show from the first second I saw it and I am totally addicted to it, so it really means a lot for me to just think about qutting it...)
Yeah there have been some unrealistic stories on Grey's but never something totally crazy, stupid, dumb and ridiculous thing like THAT!!!
The show became a joke... Some of my friends started to watch it again after I told them what is going on there right now just to
Never liked the character of Denny he needs to go and soon

I'm actually enjoying the Izzie Denny storyline. As another fan commented previously, I feel that my fave TV show is an escape, so what's all the cries for it to be realistic? I've got enough realistic every day in my own life-- I don't really need it on my favorite escape!! And, lets face it, GA has been known to push the boundaries of realism now and then, throughout its existence. Give Izzie and Denny a chance. I love the chemistry and I'm on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how this will all play out!

I love JDM. I really do but this is too much. There comes a point where enough is enough. Bringing back Denny for Meredith's "death" or whatever and also for the episode of the guy that Izzie stole the heart from, was understandable. If a brain tumor is out of the line then I'm assuming...schizophrenia perhaps? Bringing him back unnecessary times is not only hurting the show but damaging also the characters.
On another note, I'm excited to see if Big Sloan gets Little Grey after all (of course, with Derek and Meredith's blessing). They would be an odd couple but she also can be the girl that straightens Mark out and I'm so psyched for that :P. I love Mark.
Also, I read on Kristin's blog that maybe the cross over with PP the reason actually could be Archer, Addie's brother, that also happens to be a neurologist. Coincidence?

I agree 100 % with Diane. Although I'm interested in how the storyline is going to be explain, I will be very angry if I do not get a good enough answer. I was hoping it was a brain tumor; at least that way the show would include some medicine and have a somewhat logical reason, but no tumor? What's that supposed to mean... A lot of my friends and family who watch the show complain about how the show is being ruined by this storyline and we all miss our favorite characters. Please, let this be over with quickly. I hope the test audience reacts logically and Shonda realizes what a mistake she has made.
I love the storyline but there has to be a damn good ending to it and I don't want Denny to come once it has finished as much as I love JDM. The brain tumour ending sounded good but now that's been rubbished I can't think of how they could end it. Maybe Izzie will be ill but not a brain tumour maybe some other illness which makes her see things. February seems a little too long to keep the storyline going.

I agree with Tara and Sara ... lets give a little more time to the love story triangle ... i mean common ...is it a torture for anyone to see J.D. Morgan again ?? ...at least not for me xD...
Plus we all know that this will not last forever...we just have to enjoy it =)

I may not get the Alex-Izzie-Danny story-arc but I am in no ruch to see J.D. Morgan gone form Grey's Anatomy! I think he is a greater hunk than any other hunky doctor on that show, including Dr.Sloan, Dr.Shepard, Dr.Hunt etc... he kind of reminds me of Javier Bardem, only not so tan!Hmmm!....Yeah, where was I? Oh yea, J.D.Morgan, keep him on Grey's Anatomy!

This show has NEVER been that realistic people!! here are a few of my favorite crazies...
~Burke had a shaky hand for a WHOLE season and nobody freakin noticed?
~merrideth died for 3 episodes....and by the way...what if she would have died??? how many of you guys would want her ghost or whatever back to help derrek along???? I'm guessing a lot of you!!!
.....cant we just calm down and see where this is going....it might be really good!! because in the end Denny will be gone and izzie will either be dead or be with alex......whats the hurry??
and here's one for all of you who think this izzie/denny story is putting mer and der on the back burner....all of you wanted them to be happy...be together....you cried for 4 seasons for it.....the 'fans' got what the wanted and NOW there isn't a story for them...nothing...just them being happy!!!!
..............WELCOME BACK DENNY............peace!!!

People like to complain, but Denny IS bringing in the ratings. Why didn't they audience test Denny/Izzie BEFORE they rushed to kill Denny in the first place.
Like it or not....Izzie and Denny have mad chemistry....more than any other couple on the show. The only other couple that had it before it was squashed was Alex and Addison. There was some serious Heat between Kate and Justin.
There needs to be more attention paid to NATURAL chemistry than who people think should be together. You just can't act the kind of fireworks that happen naturally between tow actors. Fact is Katie Heigl SHINES when she works with Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
What the writers have attempted to do to the Izzie character since Jeffrey Dean was killed off, has failed miserably! That is due to one thing and one thing only.....there is just no match for the natural chemistry which existed between the two actors. That translates into an unsatisfied viewer.
Point is, no one and Izzie will match

Trainwreck syndrome. People tuned in to see what the fuss is about but the storyline is so bad and absurd they won't stick around. What's worse is that keeping Denny on and thus taking screentime away from the main characters will anger and frustrate the hardcore viewers who tune in to see the characters they are invested in. We've been already seeing that happen. Mer/Der, Alex/Izzie don't have many scenes together, we hardly get any Fab Five scenes or any other friendship scenes besides Mer/Cris, Derek/Mark, Mark/Callie. Some characters don't have storylines and have hardly been on the show, the most obvious example is probably George. As long as Denny stays on, fans aren't going to get many scenes with the characters they like.

ABC needs to cool it with the audience testing--isn't that the reason why they fired Erica (supposedly). While I'll be the first to admit I HATE the Denny storyline (always have, always will), I can't help but think of The Phantom of the Opera every time I read about the execs interfering with the storyline of the show. "And my managers must learn that their place is in an office! not the arts."
Maybe Shonda will really go off the deep end, put on a fancy cape & mask and start terrorizing the ABC lot.
Barring that, I'd just like to see the show go on. Don't cancel it, let her have her stupid Denny thing for now, but please, stop firing people because 20 dumb audiences in your dumb survey didn't like the storyline. What ever happened to creative freedom?

I agree and I disagree about our Denny situation. I mean I don't want him around for too much longer but I do admit this season has been rather interesting for me. I am eager to learn the truth behind what is going on with Iz and Denny. I mean come on this is a TV show for crying out loud, it lets me escape from my boring reality every week for an hour so in truth I don't mind having some unrealistic things thrown in now and again, besides it has made me excited every week to see what the outcome is going to be! I count down to the next episode! So for me this plot line is not a bad thing and for those of you that HATE this plot line, just go along with it for now enjoy Denny for the time being because for all we know it could be a dream and dreams don't last forever.
