Yikes! I did not like Erica and Callie together for sure, I agree there was no chemestry. But I did enjoy the bitchy drama that Erica brought to the show. I feel sorry for Brooke Smith to be blind sided like that.
What's this about TR no being believable as a hetro chatacter??? I think he is great. I never knew he was gay until the press blew up that story with IW running his mouth. Even still, he does a great job. Where can we vote on this? :)

Wow....that's really sudden and I feel bad for Brooke Smith, but honestly, I didn't really like Erica and especially didn't like the Callie-Erica relationship.....I like Callie and Mark way better.

Isn't it funny that this revelation of Brooke being let go from the show, comes right as Proposition 8 is being voted on. ABC have shown where they stand on it. If she was let go two months ago, why now, right before people get to vote to keep gay marriage in California (Or get rid of it, which would be disgusting) do ABC go and fire the openly gay character? I think it will backfire and hopefully draw out all the people who weren't going to vote, who are now angry that this character was axed to please the homophobes, no matter what spin ABC put on it. Go out and vote no on Prop 8, and show the networks that its ok to have gay couples on TV. This is the 21st century, not the middle ages.

I love TR the most and I hope they don't fire him but I think they might. They follow what ABC and TWOP fans say. They hated Callica and Gi and they dropped them and they also hate George and don't find him believable as a hetero lead.
I think TR will be next to be fired.
I hope not because he is the best, but he gets less and elss screentime.
Anyone who isn't size 2 or hot or straight gets fired on this show.

Erica and Callie wasn't my favorite couple but i did want them to work. i hope they don't fired TR, he is one of my favorite characters on the show!

Why do the haters always bring everything back to Gizzie? It is pathetic. Listen up Gizzie has a huge fanbase and we think they are hot together, much better than your disgusting incest abusive Lexziepuke.
Plus if a couple has no chemistry, you break them up, don't fire the actress.
Yeah, the homophobes down there had been blaming TR for the lesbian stories and he has been backburnered all season. Some shallow homophobes don't want to accept George in a romance.
The writing is on the wall. TR will be fired too and the show will officially be run by the homophobic shallow idiots who spam the polls here.
I love how the mods here promised us to post about the lack of George and the end of the GI friendship and they never did.

Lynn, a huge number of people thought George and Izzie had amazing chemistry so please don't state stupid things like facts. Gizie had the hottest chemistry on TV but some shallow minded people like you, and some homophobic people, couldn't stand gay not hunk TR getting the hot girl. So now she is sleeping with the hot guy, even though he looks constipated 95% of the time, can't act and she has no chemistry at all with him.
Who thinks TR is next to be fired to please the shallow homophobic people out there? He has no story, it is pretty obvious.

I don't think it has anything to do with the storyline or them being lesbians, the chemistry is horrible between them. George & Izzie had horrible chemistry, too...you just can't help it. If it doesn't work, ditch the storyline and move on. Hahn has been a downer since she joined the cast.

Although I was very surprised by this news, I can't say I'm bothered by it. The character of Hahn was very stiff, very negative and not very likeable. I'm all for a gay relationship on Grey's-but Callie seemed so much more real in her approach (minus the extremely funny, probably unrealisitc tips from Mark.) Other than Callie there is not one character that has been able to "bond" with Hahn. She was not a good fit. Best wishes to Brooke Smith-but let's move on. I can't wait to see Mary MacDonnell as a cardio Doc with aspergers!

SGH seems cursed.All white characters became either whores or lesbians.The black characters survived. The more white the charecter was the deeper went in the sin. We want white antimagic
if possible. More romantic and more traditional values will be nice.

I'm very disappointed to hear this. I liked Erica a lot, a whole lot more than Burke, but I would rather see her let go than see the show get cancelled. ABC is owned by Disney, the idiots that started up that High School Musical B.S. Otherwise known as a "family network".
It is starting to seem cliche now with this show though. The last different, really good story line they had going (AKA, the GIZZIE story line) it got dropped and left hanging half-ass. I liked Izzie better back when she was with George. She was funnier, sweet, and I think a little less self-absorb. I wasn't too entirely fond with that George and how broken he was, but the story line was good. It wasn't the same old B.S. you dealt with with the infamous, highly overrated couple "MerDer."
But of course, I think I like Lexie and George better, but poor George is still too blind and all "omigaww I'm a surgeon yow!"
Oh wait, this is about Brooke Smith. Duh.
I hope to see her get in with another show soon. S

Whoa, that was sudden. I never expected that. I was never a huge Callica fan but I loved Erica. She was a great addition to the show. Why can't we get rid of Hunt instead???

This sucks!!! I was never a big fan of Callie and Erica together as a couple but I did like Erica's character. She wasn't a replacement to Burke, but she was a great addition. :(

This is HORRIBLE!!
I really liked that character and that storyline and this idea that they're just going to cut her out of the show like that - what about story arcs? what about continuity? If this ends up being another choppy season like season three where everything jumped around and people got killed off, I will scream! I have really liked the last two episodes and have been so proud of my show for taking on the relationship between Callie and Erica,
Does ABC just not like cardiac surgeons?

It really makes me wonder who writes that show... Shonda or ABC. I'm pissed off and hope that their ratings will drop down. Erica Hanh and Callie were my favorite! I'm definately not going to watch, the way they let her go is awful. I'M happy to be canadian when I see this!
