This is more homophobic bullshiit from the ABC executives.Shonda created the show. so theres no way in hell she didnt have a say in this.I am so shocked by this and pissed. the storyline of erica and callie was the main reason i watched the show.this couple was breaking ground for network tv.they just took a great storyline and took a big hot shit all over it.I didnt see this one coming but this is ABC tv.The same old horseshit ABC has done since Ellen came out.They create great lesbian characters then write them off like a bad check.

They keep dropping storylines in absurd ways. The whole George-and-Izzie thing. It was such a big deal for both of them, and they were madly in love. I know it turned out to be not what they expected, but I haven't even seen them talk for episodes now and Izzie's even sleeping around with Alex. Very unrealistic, very annoying.
And about the whole gay-thing; America still doesn't get it. This country thinks it's a crime to let children see a womans breast (the same breasts that feed baby's to become healthy kids), but if you put the tv one you can see violence like it's a normal thing. It makes me sick. I'm glad I'm Dutch. Americans can complain about the laws on drugs in the Netherlands, but in America the percentage of addicted people is higher, and the percentage of murders is even more.

I can't believe it! I never was the biggest fan of the Erica character replacing the Preston Burke character, but come on! This is ridiculous. So because the network does not like the way that a storyline is being worked out they just up and fire someone! I do not believe that Brooke Smith or Shonda Rimes thought that the story line was going sour but rather the network was nervous about where the story was going. Its unfortunate and I really wish they would reconsider.

This is just horrible. She was one of my favorite characters. I live in Europe, Belgium, and around here, networks are waaaay more open about 'gay stuff' or however you might call it. I read that the new intern Sadie is not going to be bisexual anymore, but straight. Maybe just a flirt with a woman but that's it.
And then they say, 'It's not because of the portrayal of a lesbian'.
Yeah right, what are we, stupid?

This is absolutely shocking. I was never a huge fan of hers, but I did certainly enjoy the drama she created. Bummer.

Wow. I really didn't see that one coming. I thought she was a great addition to the show once Burke had left. She was no replacement, but a good addition. I clicked on my favorites bar with greysanatomyinsider.com on it, and the first thing is this? it shocked me! i wonder where ratings are going from here....
