ok, I am not liking this dead Denny thing...but I think I know where this is going....Ii was watching episode 1-2 of this season today for the second time and just realized something...in the end it seems that Izzie imagines showing her prom dress to Denny but it could be a scene from later episodes. like in today's episode, in the beginning they show scenes which occur later. It could be that Izzie will die later and then have that moment with Denny. I know Shonda said Izzie will not have brain tumor but maybe she'll have something else. Or maybe she won't die but will almost die (like Meredith).
Don't like Sadie....don't like the idea of Mark and Lexie. Would love to see her with George though.

I am glad Cristina and Mer finally fought,. It was building for a long time. While I like both Mark and Alex individually, I neither ship Mexie or Lexzie together. I see no chemistry but at least I am liking both characters now.
I just wish we had more George and could know a bit more about how he feels about Lexie. Pleaser give him something to do. He is floating around and TR is way too talented for that.

I loved the beginning of this episode - you know, with the dark and cuts to the things that happened throughout the course of the episode (reminded me of the "bomb episodes" way back in season 2). Wow. Personally, I like the Denny thing and am looking forward to seeing where that is going. I also loved Mark with the little girl - it just made him seem a whole lot more real, which is a great thing. Loved the Meredith/Cristina argument - we never see enough REAL talking between them. And yes, we're missing MerDer, but you forget - if this relationship is going to last, it has to be way stretched out - I mean, they can't just get married immediately.
Sadie - hmm. I'm going to have to see more of her to decide if I like her or not.
So, George is finally told how much Lexie likes him. About time.
Anyway, loved the theme of this episode - the 13 year old was great, and the shots of Seattle were cool, as usual. (If that really is Seattle and not just digital - even if it

Okay, the episode overall was not bad. I absolutely loved all of the scenes involving Mark and Alex (of course!) and I too think both of these characters are developing into real MEN (and hot to boot)!
I am SICK TO DEATH of Denny/Izzie. You know how when you were a little kid and you went trick or treating and you got home and ate ALL of your candy because there was so much of it and it tasted so good??? And then afterwards you didn't even want to THINK about candy because the very idea made you sick? That's what these idiot writers have done with Denny. There IS too much of a good thing. Why couldn't they just leave Denny in the grave and let us remember him fondly????
Thank God they are developing an interesting story for one of the most interesting members of the cast--Cristina. Shonda tortured her for one full season (at the hands of Hahn, no less) when she was treated like dirt both by her fiance and by the great cardio thoracic surgeon. So she suffered personally AND

Okay, I'm still confused about Denny coming back, but he keeps saying "I'm here for you Izzy". Could it be that the reason he is there is that Sarah, Izzy's daughter is going to die and he's there to take her to the other side? Sarah that is not Izzy, but "he'll be there for her". What do you think. Does it have any merit? Denny there to take care of Sarah and Alex there to take care of Izzy once again.
It's killing me. Oh, how I wish I was a fly on the writer's room wall.

I am upset. We don't get any George and Izzie scenes, Mark who should be with Callie is being paired with little girl Lexie, and George has no connection with anyone. He is just floating around, unloved by everyone.
George is the heart of the show. How can you treat him like that?
I hope to God he gets the solo surgery because he deserves to win once, but I am sure he won't.
He is your favorite whipping boy after all.

OK where was George again? He interacts with noone, he doesn't talk to his old friends anymore and the ignore him. All he gets to do is be yelled at UNFAIRLY by Lexie and stay there without saying a word. TR is such an amazing actor, so why aren't you giving him any good material?
My heart hasn't even mended from Gizzie and now that I actually find myself rooting for George and Lexie too, you pair her with Mark. How cruel can you be?
And will we ever have a George and Izzie scene again?
Stop hanging out at TWOP and ABC, plenty of people love George.

I would definitely miss it. The unanswered questions would probably force me to hunt down Shonda and make her tell me how it ends LOL.
My favourite part of this episode was the usually "in-control" Hunt, totally losing it over Cristina.
The way he stammered and said stupid things, how he got all nervous and shy...so sweet:-)
Least favourite which I'm sure you can guess: the painful continuation of the DennyDebacle.

denny died let him rest in peace. I mean seriously, we had all moved on (including izzie!) now its time for them to!
what happened to focusing on our core group of characters (like George!) i get our residents arent teaching the interns but that doesnt look like its going to change. they wouldve been better off signing a petition to the chief saying they werent being taught. he is on a "we need to teach" campaign, he might have listened! now, they've done this crazy thing and just look surgery hungry and stupid.
Where's the merder? the writers can give them all this time while they're miserable and suddenly they're happy and they only have two moments together?
I have to tell you guys...i love this show and the characters, but i think if i missed the next few episodes i wouldnt care and probably wouldve weened myself from it pretty fast. like if there was a writers' strike right now...wouldnt really phase me that much. anybody else feelin

As for the episode: LOVED IT!
Mer/Der: Lovely! But not as many scenes as I hoped for...
Izzie/Denny/Alex: I rlly don't know what to say or even think about the Izzie/Denny situation.. I hope the writers have GOOD - a VERY good - reason for that, because otherwise that would be so damn dumb...but I loved Alex in this ep...so.. nice,, so mature..just not like Alex, but so sweet!!
Interns: SO TOTALLY STUPID! I hate them.. they don't need to be on the show.. just give us more of our 5 beloved residents and co, especially more George!!!
Cristina/Owen: GREAT! I just love them together!!
Marc/Callie: Also so great together, I love them, as friends, as a couple, in every little way they're just amazing!
Hmmm I'm kinda strating to like Lexie.. she's rlly madly in love with George..I think they'd make a cute couple..and the Mer/Lexie relationship got better, too..kinda nice!

Callie got hit in the nose by a pt that was having a nightmare. She is ok, just emotionally exhausted. She and Mark had a nice scene and also her and Bailey.

please... okay. when i try really really hard, i believe that the writers believe that they have a point about izzie and denny. i'm sorry, that's just about as far as i can stretch it.
loved, cristowen. *sigh* so cute. i think you're beautiful. he is slowing getting over himself and she is well, being cristina. i love it.
callie ♥ sloan. adorable. i liked that way better than callica. really. i want hahn back ; i really do. but marcallie. amazing couple that should stat sorta friends but also sorta lovers.
merder. they are growing up. i think its adorable ; but some more action is NEEDED. more merder action please!
now for sadie. sadie sadie sadie. she brings out the rockstar; i get that. that's great. i believe that the writers believe she has a purpose too. i dont mind her ; i just dont get her YET.

The writers are starting to stretch the boundaries of credibility and test the patience of us, the audience. Come on, bringing Denny back for this long is pandering to the fans and not following logic and natural story arcs. It makes Izzy and the writers look stupid. Then the interns operate on one of their own and mess it up without real repercussions? Come on already. It is really starting to get annoying. Having to resort to tricks like these spells the beginning of the end.

What an episode! I love Izzy, and I just want her to be happy! For resurrecting from the dead, Danny didn't have much to say! I hope him being present will actually close the door on her grieving you know? Maybe she'll realize that she needs Alex more?
In any case, Christina actually having a love intrest? Yes! Finally! After being left at the alter, she deserves someone to say she's beautiful; totally glad its Owen!
Mark was so sweet with that little girl, and I did tear up when she cried and he comforted her. This proves he can be a good dad, so Calie when ever you're done with your experimenting Mark could be your "BABY DADDY"!

next. the whole carzy, sick, insane and ridiculous izzie/ghost thing... stop it please.. we know now she has no brain tumor but why the hell is she seeing him?
i am again in love with alex! she is cheating on him and he defends her when one of the stupid interns said that she killed denny... he defends her even though she left him then because of him! and he said he can wait for her and that he won't go anywhere ... i mean seriously i don't understand how anyone can hate alex!
he became such a good man and i just hope that this "love triangle" will end soon cause i totally think that even if denny would be real alex is still better for izzie!
i am also upset that cris and mer had a fight :(
i don't think cris will choose her for the solo surgery know so i'm excited who's gonna get it

Uh... Next week is Thanksgiving here in the USA. That's probably why it isn't new. Although, I know they did it last season.
I really thought that tonight's episode was written in the sense that they just wanted to come up with the stupidest stuff possible. Izzie and Denny were vomit worthy the entire time. It was only a little surprising that it ended up being Sadie on the operating table, but she totally brought whatever happened on herself.
Mark was the best with Callie and the little girl tonight. However, I really would have liked to see more about Callie's nose surgery, than just Mark telling her what he was going to do for her. I think that would have been more interesting than Izzie.

What is with Izzie? Seriously? She's gone off the deep end. Something's wrong with her, and even though the people have denied cutting Izzie because of Katherine's emmy-related remarks, I'm seriously thinking brain tumor. I mean, I love Denny and all, but enough is enough now. He's dead, end of story. And Alex is becoming completely sweet and he's handling Izzie's struggles really well, even though she's shutting him out... He deserves her, and he shouldn't be forced to share her with her fiance who is fricken dead.
Also, I'm so sick of the stupid interns. What a stupid thing to do!!! And Sadie?? Oh my gosh, she has to go. I HATE the idea of her being Callie's love-interest. I mean, I ship Mark/Callie hardcore, but if Callie has to be with a girl, pick one who isn't a complete moron like Sadie. I want Sadie gone. Cristina is Mer's best friend, not Sadie. Go back to the morgue, Sadie, SGH does not want you.

I think it's going to be amazing, whatever it is. We finally get to see Cristina being interested in pursuing a relationship, instead of the other way around. I think she's finally ready to open up the possibility of being with someone.

There were two sweet moments between Cristina and Owen. One when she showed up at the hospital and he was waiting on a trauma, and he was all word-less (in his words, later) and finally asked how she got there so fast. She told him she lived across the street. At the end of the episode, she walks home and he's sitting on her steps. She asks if he wants to come in and he says he doesn't think it would be appropriate. She asks if he wants to go somewhere and he says no. So she just sits down beside him. He stares at her for a moment and then tells her "I think you're beautiful). She doesn't say anything and it just switches to another scene with them just sitting there. A very quiet but lovely moment.
